Hillary Clinton announces her support for gay marriage - (she's all in for 2016)

Why else would a retired Secretary of State spontaneously announce her support for marriage equality?

She has stated many times that she will not run and I think that she will not run as her age will be a problem...although she will be a few months younger than President Reagan was when he ran.

She's retired from politics and shouldn't have any stance on anything. The fact that she's made this announcement should tell the Republicans something. She's clearly paving the way to the White House - former first lady, Senator from NY, Sec. Of State... At the very least her job positions give us the indication that she's qualified to be President.

And to date the Republicans seem to have no front runner. God, please bring back Palin - she's easy on the eyes and funny as all fuck! ("Obama is trying to take away your guns, you betcha!")

Her views are one thing. Why she would announce it is my point.

I think she wants to be POTUS and will run. I know she'll be old. Some people stay very sharp into their 80s.

She was at CPAC - guzzling a giant soda to the barking delight of the seals in attendance! Hilarious! That'll show em! "This here's a Freedom Soda!"

It's hard to say what her motivation is.

Honestly, I had thought she was already one that came out in support of but maybe I was thinking of Michelle.

This is one of those issues a lot of people are speaking out on.

It's no different than if a former first lady / senator / sec state spoke up in favor of equal rights in the 60s.

Her coming out in favor of gay marriage doesn't mean she is running for president. For all we know Obama asked her to publicly support it. This is likely going to be an issue in the mid term election. The democrats will use it to try to get their supporters to the polls. the higher the turnout the better it works out for the democrats so they might be asking her to help rally people.

I agree. I'm not sure if she will run or not, but if she is it would look tacky to step down from her position as sec. state then announced, right after Obama is sworn in for his second term that she is running in 2016.

Pigs and Dims always make these sorts of announcements when they want to deflect from other news. Real news. Dims are also losing support in far left cause they're not sucking special interest cock hard enough.

Shits about to hit the fan in Europe and she makes a useless announcement like somebody gives a damn about it. Seriously.

Is she really that old ? I never picture that, I also believe she can win unless the GOP move away from the religious nutters, er ah, I mean right

I used to think he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Then you learn bout his removing Glass-Stiegel along with his pig friends and realize he's the turd who help bring on the greatest recession since 1929. He opened the door and threw the quarters down the hallway. And you know what bankers do when they see money...

He was a pretty good Pres. I think it'll help her quite a bit with the electorate that he's in her corner.

I use to think that until I read about the eliminating of Glass-Stegel. (sp?)

He and the GOP paved way for 2008. Research it before offering blind obedience to the press kit. Hillary would be a disaster. All of them are disasters at this point.

Becoming the first female president in history is probably something that is still on the minds of the Clintons, thus retired or not she'll still want to toss a stance out there every so often on major issues to keep everyone reminded that her opinion still matters, just in case she decides to make it official for 2016.

In other words yes, at the moment whether she admits it or not, she's campaigning.

I am sorry, does this mean you are not entitled to having a position/stance/opinion on anything because you are not in politics?

The 2012 Benghazi attack investigation might expose her incompetence in handling the crisis. The survivor interviews will be interesting to hear. The Obama administration has supposedly told them to keep quiet.

The Repiggies sure are milking Benghazi.

Quote:
The way the Republicans in Congress have been milking the Benghazi tragedy, which resulted in the death of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three others, you'd think that there haven't been at least fifteen attacks on US consulates and embassies since 1979. You'd assume they haven't been justifying their own vociferous defense of bad intel resulted in the invasion and occupation of Iraq.

You'd think that, but you would be wrong.
