Is it ok to charge your phone & battery at same time overnight?
I have this external battery http://amzn.com/B008PQAFTM
When I go to bed I like to plug it into the wall, while the iphone is connected to it so that when I wake up both phone and batter are fully charged. Is this ok, or bad for the battery, or the phone battery? thanks |

it should be ok, ive heard of it being bad for laptops and what not but eh, my phones battery has been fine.

Personally, I would charge them separately. Apple has done a lot of testing with their phone / battery / charger combination and IMO you should stick with that to make sure you get the longest lifespan out of your gear.
Would not hurt to put them on separate chargers at night, and you know they're being charged at the recommended rates. |

Ideally should do it during the daytime. Night-time electricity is diluted and not as good for batteries.
