I never stay at the "corporate" casino/hotels anymore. I always pick the old school places...and they are fast becoming extinct. For instance you can stay at the Riviera in The Sinatra Penthouse suite for a couple of hundred bucks on a weekday. It's nice (it's where Frank himself stayed) Or you can go downtown to Fremont St. Some very nice suites at The Golden Nugget. And The D Casino (used to be Fitzgeralds) has been completely refurbished. Just had a party there on Monday night in one of the corner "D Suites" which is very nice for a couple hundred bucks. Plus you have all the fun of Fremont St. right there. |

I will check these out. Couple hundred bucks a night is about my budget. I like the Bellagio but 400 bucks a night is not as much fun when you pay for it yourself..lol Will be in town with a few people over a weekend. Going to the O show again maybe another show also. Never met you, if you have time and are near the strip lets have a drink. The people i am with are not drinkers. So will give me an excuse to have a couple. |

Venetian and Hard Rock, sign up for their emails. Great deals.
Also check Groupon. Hard Rock usually $99/night and I've gotten Palazzo at $125/night.

You'll save money and get more of a "real" Vegas feel in the old school Casinos. Since I moved here I've grown fond of the old Vegas and try to support it in any way I can as opposed to the overpriced "corporate" Vegas. |
