those using gmail accounts.

We checked, and the data center support team swears that neither the IP or any of our "neighbors" are on any blacklists.

As far as we know, its only happening with gmail. We are not receiving any error reports or bounce backs.

We did add to the dns a "google-site-verification" TXT item and well as a "v=spf1" TXT item to our DNS.

Still nothing! Any help from the GFY community would be appreciated.

I'm not An expert, but when i install something and it doesnt work, i usually start by reviewing the server logs... Can you do that? Maybe something Goes wrong between your server and the Google servers... If so, the logs should give you a clue

From what I have read, in penguin 2.0 google specifically blocked gmail from receiving from any domains it has associated with .xxx.

Dig for the mx and then try to telnet to it from your box. If the connection is refused it should tell you why. Do you have access to the server maillog? You might check the IP on mxtoolbox too.

The logs have been looked over, nonetheless the guys are looking them over again. We had no problem with Gmail until about 3 weeks ago, when we first discovered it. We are not alone in failing to reach gmail users.

I will send this over. Thanks. I know they checked the IP against public DBs, and all seems ok. We found only gmail is effected.

What domain is it? The mx-record for nalem.com is not set as pr. best practice.

10 should be the preferred server (you use 0)
20 for the next
30 for the third
ect.

So some services (like gmail and live) may send it to your backup mailserver (lstore1.secureserver.net) rather than the main mail-server (smtp.secureserver.net)

Ferus, it wasnt for NALEM, but nonetheless "thank you". I have forwarded this to my guys.
I keep a oncall server admin around, but he is on holiday. So my programmers are pissing into the wind at the moment.

Ferus, the guy checked and the server is set at "10".

One test site is effected: gadgetdon.com (down because of server problems), but the mx settings and such can be seen.
