'France's Former Foreign Minister, Roland Dumas, has stated in a televised program on LCP that UK government officials had told him about preparations for war in Syria two years prior to the start of the 2011 protests and conflict. The reason given for this war is the Syrian government's anti-Israel stance that made Syria a target for Western-backed regime change.'

I'd like to hear a plausible theory as to why four states with islamic leaning governments have been toppled with US support or by the US, and now the rush is on for Syria.

Iraq (WMD hahaha no seriously that was the "reason")
Afghanistan <- actually deserved it, IMHO
Lybia (We don't have to have an excuse - he is bad aint he?)
Egypt (Their own people did it, yeah, that's the ticket)

Now Syria. By the way, don't worry about that 5 trillion or the billions in planeloads of cash, or the lost lives of those poor people. We can always make more. We just print the cash and we are making millions of new poor people every year.

I was in Manhattan on Sept 11th - Taliban are religious extremists and should not have an army or weapons. Effectively we were attacked, and it is OK to retaliate when you are attacked. Beheading 9 and 10 year olds = bad enough to be removed from power.

I disagree with how this attack was used to justify the "war on turrrizm" and the subsequent spending of trillions of dollars to spy on Americans.

Well of course. Every so often different countries, NATO, etc, get together and say "what are the potential hot spots where our military may be required". And they plan for it.

According to the script, 15 of the 19 alleged hijackers were citizens of Saudi Arabia. Others were from Egypt, Lebanon, and the UAE.

Would have been more appropriate to attack Saudi Arabia if anywhere, based on the story we were told

He said the plan was to send 'Rebels' into Syria, so this was a plan to create the problem itself, then providing a pretext for a military attack and regime change
