Some annoying television
I don't spend a lot of time watching television, but as it is a day off I turned on the tv after watching the news.
First show..Future weapons. Got idea for the show, however the host was an ex-navy seal for 10 years. He mentioned it 11 times over the 43 minutes of actual show. Then during the show there was a software ad for Dragon. It went on and on for at least 5 minutes. How can people watch this stuff.. I turned it off and am restringing a fender

There was a great show about the Vikings traveling through North America around 1000 AD on the History Channel. I was actually shocked because I would think those pukes who run the History Channel would actually try to refute the obvious evidence of all the large stone carvings they left behind.
But yes I agree that TV is made for the lowest common denominator and I find most of it completely unwatchable. |

These days it is all Netflix and torrent downloads for me. I was going to cancel my satellite subscription completely but feel stupid doing that since I have so much tied up in receivers. I dropped it down to just the basic package and the movie package, so at least I can still watch amc on Sunday night if walking dead is on.

tv is for football. even then i gotta turn the volume way down so i don't hear those blathering idiots yapping the games..
chris collingsworth? jtfc, if he says "it will be interesting to see ..." argh. umm, cc, that's your job- to tell us what's interesting, not just say it's interesting. i know it's interesting, that's why i'm watching. duh. other than football, i hand pick all my tv watching these days via streaming- documentaries, news, everything. speaking of docs, watcched this recently via amazon prime, super good! i recommend watching it with a guitar in your lap! but, heck, i do a lot of things these days with a guitar hanging around my neck, i'm writing this right now with my strat ![]() |
