Hi there!

So what do you guys use weekly for recreation?
Not talking about daily drugs like coffee or tobacco..

I use only alcohol, but I think it would be better to switch to cannabis

I used and abused alcohol for years on and off (more on that off) until I had had enough. I now use cannabis and wish that I had used it all those years instead of mind-numbing alcohol!

Alcohol is good for killing germs but it is simply a poison. It is physically addictive and while you THINK you are having a good time you are simply becoming sedated and stupid.

I used to smoke weed all the time but I quit six months ago and been clean ever since, not because I think its bad but because I'm trying to lose weight and it was just causing me problems with the munchies. I drink some when I'm watching football with my buddies, but other than that I am clean and sober I amaze myself.

There comes a time when you don't need recreational drugs, because you're on enough pain killers and anti-inflammatories and pills to help you sleep and other ones to keep you regular and still other ones to keep you from flinging your own feces at people that you have no need nor room for taking anything else.

Thankfully I'm not quite there yet but if things get much worse I may just chuck everything and go back to smoking pot. I hear the stuff out there today is much better than the stuff that was around in the 80's.
