I watched it Wednesday night (midnight showing here).

It was great fun!

Spidey was tightly written, Garfield really owned the role this time around and Jamie Fox was electrifying...Electro always seemed like a second string villain in the comics but he was definitely 1st string in this.

Harry Osborn had always been weak and unlikeable to me as well but this was a strong new dynamic Harry that set himself apart from any of the weaker incarnations of the past.

Totally worth watching but I really recommend 3D as it is so totally made for it.

I was a Production Assistant for the second unit...not all that impressive, but a nice way to get a new career started.

For ASM2, we did a the entire opening action sequence.

Seems like such an unnecessary reboot. I would have preferred more sequels with Tobey. What's next, an Iron Man reboot?

I believe it was necessary if they (SONY) wanted to keep the rights. The first ASM was well into Preproduction while the SM3 was wrapping up.

I did, and there was. I thought there might be two of them, since there were two after Capt America 2, but the workers at the theater decided they didn't want to stay any longer and so they killed it before the credits ended (), so I can only confirm one that came on during the credits. I plan to go watch the movie again later this week though so I'll find out then hopefully

I heard that the X-Men scene may not be shown in North America though. It's different studios for X-Men and Spider-Man, cos of different copyright/trademark-holders. Sony has to make a Spider-Man movie every couple years or so or the rights revert back to Marvel.

I hope Marvel gets those rights back soon, it would be amazing to see an Avengers movie with Spidey in it.

Excelsior!
