"Nest" home thermostats... Here is a mini review..
K ... first of it looks cool as fuck.
Second its nice to control shit from you phone and so forth.. Easy as fuck to install....if you cant then you pay like 100 bucks for a concierge type douchebag to come and install it.. Now tbh in regards to it learning your schedule and so forth.... I shut that feature off cause i think we are years away from a true AI/ Learning... I have one upstairs and one downstairs...... it looks cool , and has techy features... as far as it saving you tons and tons on your energy bill .....ehhhhhhhh |

AI isn't necessary. It just looks at the times of days you tend to raise or lower it then uses that as an average for automatic settings. If you pay more for electricity during the day, the best is to set it lower for daytime when you are out at work, and have it raise automatically around the time you would normally get home (say 6pm), then lower again automatically around 11pm when you might go to bed.

I've had it about a year and a bit, its saved me about 30% on my electric bill every month. They send out neat monthly reports. Its definitely not something for the conspiracy/big brother nuts.
Right now mine has crashed somehow and its impossible to reboot or login to heh. I know if I call they will sort me out, but its still functional. |

It really is RIDICULOUSLY easy to install.
Jordan, if you flip the breaker (quicker than disconnecting the wires), does it reset itself and work properly? |

If not, have you tried doing the "to default" option in the menu?
