Hi from Payza

Just a little intro post. I'm Rob from Payza, I'll be around from time to time to plug our products and help answer questions. Some of you may have met my associate Chris at conferences etc. He'll be around also if you need anything.

For those of you that aren't familiar with Payza, we're an online payment processor and e-wallet service with members in over 190 countries. We just started accepting adult industry merchants, so you can now use Payza to process e-wallet and Visa payments on your sites.

We also just set up a Bitcoin buying option for our members and we're working on Bitcoin payment processing for our merchants, so look for that soon.

Payza bought Alert pay, I was there an authorized financial account, which I had quite a lot of money after buying Alertpay, Payza blocked my account with the fact that I have them re-send the authentication data. Why should I re-authorize the account has already been authorized ?? Our money still has Payza, we consider a lawsuit.

That was over 2 years ago, what have you been waiting for? Wasn't working here when the switch happened, but from what I'm told verified accounts stayed verified, don't know why there would have been an exception just for you. Give our Customer Support Team a shout, they'll help fix you up.

Operations are back to normal in the US. There were issues with our old licensing partner that are still affecting some accounts (issues we are aware of and are working hard to correct). We've since switched partners and new balances aren't affected.

We've added a bunch of new withdrawal options recently including Bitcoin and Visa withdrawals. We're in talks to bring back the Payza Prepaid Card as well, should be more updates on that soon.

It's definitely a priority. We've been focused on giving our members the most convenient and cost-effective withdrawal methods and the Prepaid Card is at the top of the list. That said, when everything falls into place for another option (Bitcoin, credit card, etc) we're obviously going to make that available.

Yeah that is weird thing there,i saw like thousand times "we got a card,it's only matter of day" and that keep repeating and repeating and it never arrived. While that proccess can be complicated as fuck,as redpass on zombaio also took ages to get card, some companies managed to do that in decent time.
Also, payza is owned by uk company now, right ? In that case you could simply go by using wirecard which is used by skrill and it working quite fine(i have it)

Hmmm Payza.

What is your policy on using your services to commit copyright infringement and other questionable activities.

Having a thread on GFY and offering services on boards full of users that pirate from the adult industry may not be a good idea.

Surprised Adult King has not dropped in to say hello yet.

Wow, talk about being an asshole right when joining the community. Bumping a thread from April and insinuating that a competitor is outright lying? Fuck, you're going to have a rough time here, buddy:

That's covered under 7.2 of our User Agreement...can't link yet so copy/paste to view:
payza.com/legal-agreements/payza-terms-and-conditions#acceptable_use

Pertinent section:

7.2 Activities Not Allowed
  • Any goods or services infringing intellectual property rights of a third party, including but not limited to streaming video/audio, illegal downloads, modification chips, DVD and Blu-Ray Disc decryption devices
  • Illegal downloads or any other goods and services infringing intellectual property rights of a third party, including streaming video/audio

Ya, stupid mistake, searched for Payza, that came out on top from the 21st...thought it was yesterday not April. At the same time, even if it's from April something about his answer doesn't add up, at no time have we ever only had services for US businesses only.

Agreed. When everyone was talking about Payza stealing their money, it was users from all over, not just the US. Did you want to bump that old thread, too?

Sure, correct away:

We are unable to complete any requests to withdraw or transfer these funds at this time, as they are currently being withheld by Ultralight Financial Services, formerly known as Obopay Inc., a licensed U.S. money transmitter of which Payza was an agent.

In order to provide payment services to our U.S. clients in your state, Payza entered into an agreement with Obopay Inc., a long standing and highly reputable money transmitter. However, following a change in management and in name, Obopay Inc., now known as Ultralight FS, is currently refusing to process any customer transaction requests from the Payza platform, and refusing to release your money to you.

FOR PAYZA CUSTOMERS:

The notification provided on Payza's website concerning funds you have on deposit with Payza is false and misleading. Ultralight FS (formerly known as Obopay) does not have any funds belonging to Payza or Payza's customers. Any claims for funds should be directed to Payza where your account was established and administered.
While you're at it, you may want to do some correction work here, too:

WordLinx is no longer able to use Payza as a payment or cashout processor, following their sudden and unexpected suspension of transfers into all UK-based Payza accounts. This not only affects us, but all UK-based Payza users.

We're very disappointed with this decision and won't continue to use such an unreliable service. As such, we'll be removing Payza from all our sites over the next few weeks. Luckily we have enough in our account to process all outstanding Payza cashouts, but unfortunately we will not be able to process any further outgoing payments via this processor.

So why does Payza deal with the pirates on WJunction if your policies prohibit dealing with pirates?

Edgeprod, check out the Obopay/Ultralight websites now, they're gone. Should be pretty clear which side was being honest.

After the initial confusion it was discovered that the US DOJ seized Obopay/Ultralight's assets, including the Payza funds that they held. We've been in contact with the DOJ and affected members to get that rectified.

The UK issues were related to licensing. No funds were held, UK members were able to cash out at any time. Services resumed in the UK in January: blog.payza.com/payza-updates/announcements/payza-services-united-kingdom/

So your reps have never looked around on that board or the other boards they post on?

Your answer is 1 that I have come to expect from people working for companies that have policies for the sake of saying they have them and do not follow them.

No one from payza has ever looked through the file hosts threads on WJunction? Really?

You and Payza are completely unaware of what takes place on that site?

Go ahead tell me another fairy tale. You and anyone else visiting that site and looking at new posts or searching about the site will find plenty of indications what takes place there.

I am really surprised you would even attempt to use that excuse/defense here.

You guys should really do more research before joining sites and posting threads encouraging people to use your services.

Is that because your IT guys last position was as a file share specialist for 6 years?

We post in forums where people are talking about us. There's a sub-forum on WJunction called "Payza" so we thought we should probably have a presence there, that's pretty much the only place we ever post there. We don't promote or condone piracy, or any illegal activity.

To use Payza, a merchant needs to pass a website review that no pirate site would pass, and if someone tries to get around our rules their accounts are suspended as soon as they're caught. In fact, we've worked with AdultKing to terminate accounts that we're deemed to support copyright infringement.

No spell checker, how professional.

I noticed PayPal has a section there but I do not see them there offering support.

Haha, don't bring out the pitchforks yet

The company he worked for: groupe-gsc.qc.ca/index_en.php, specializes in File Sharing Permissions for internal networking. He worked as an IT specialist here for about six months, taking care of our internal network permissions.

I guess the next question is:

Why do you lend support on sites whose primary activity is against your company policies?

We're not really all that active there, but it looked like a good place to promote our updates, like the other boards we post to.

We definitely stay away from the shadier boards. Maybe posting to Wjunction was a mistake, we'll have to take a closer look.
