The current business? If you look at a lot of these different plug things that these traffic brokers are doing and especially the "CPV" (costs per view) model it's no different than blind circle jerk traffic was when key TGPS were really big. It is blind scammed traffic and has very little value.

As much as I would hate to say it, the better traffic brokers are the ones that broker for the big tube sites because at least you know that the publishers are some of the biggest sites on the Internet, but even those big traffic brokers with the biggest sites on the Internet... do you know what they are doing? They are buying the cheap traffic and mixing it in with their organic traffic, so they have a bigger inventory. I know this for a fact.

Once again, this does not pertain to juicyads, I've never done any business with them, but as someone who's been around this game, especially the traffic side... that's my take on it.

Well, first brokers were indeed just selling skim/blind traffic, like chokertraffic, fpctraffic, trafficholder and trafficshop, but since then tons of new brokers appeared and almost all of them handle only clicked clean traffic, like banner or text link traffic.Think juicyads was one the first brokers doing banner ads only till they expanded to other types as well.

Completely agree: I tell clients that come to be for traffic brokerage that it's a dangerous game and that if someone's selling traffic, they likely find it hard to monetize it.

Tried out some 'premium webcam' traffic a few months ago just to confirm my beliefs about brokers. Here are the stats - it's the PRPOPUNDER tracker.

$2.50 from 6600 uniques. I had one person create an account. All my other popunder profiles with decent sites net at least ten times that figure. It's really silly I got 46 more free joins on my own site with less traffic.

Really confirmed my beliefs that SEO is the way to go. It has its limited usage to getting the ball rolling, but I doubt anyone here actually profits from buying brokered traffic.

Note: didn't use Juicy Ads, so not an attack on them.

Sounds like juicyads needs to get their shit together

[eQUOTE=Sly;20248375]It means that there is a problem in the chain somewhere and you should take further actions of communication before calling a company a scam. Call your bank and see how much trouble they give you over the phone, then call them a scam and see what happens.

I have sent this thread to somebody over at Juicy. I'm sure they will get with you. In the future, before starting a thread accusing someone of being a scammer, try starting a thread looking for additional communication options. You'll get a lot further.

Popunders = waste of money. Unless you are too big to care and you just want to brand your website.

Only CPA (super annoying ones) fuckers and malware fuckers still use popunders.

Good luck everybody! :thumbsup
