Is JuicyAds just a big fat scam?

I've put $250 in a new JuicyAds account weeks ago, and they've still done absolutely nothing for me.

It's a small amount, but my site is brand new, and I just want to test the waters.

My personal contact there goes by DJ. At first this person said they couldn't find any money in my account. I sent them the transaction # and a week later they said they found it. Then another week went by and DJ again said there was no money. I resent the transaction ID# and now DJ is simply not responding to me.

Has anyone else experience this?

What should I do?

People really need to think long and hard before clicking the post button. Sucks that you are having problems with your account funding, but calling a solid company like Juicy Ads a scam is pretty lame...

Not a scam. Unless they turned into one just this moment.

I'm not here to slander anyone willy-nilly. But I've literally had several months of correspondence with JuicyAds, given them money, and have not seen one single ad. What is that if not a scam?

It means that there is a problem in the chain somewhere and you should take further actions of communication before calling a company a scam. Call your bank and see how much trouble they give you over the phone, then call them a scam and see what happens.

I have sent this thread to somebody over at Juicy. I'm sure they will get with you. In the future, before starting a thread accusing someone of being a scammer, try starting a thread looking for additional communication options. You'll get a lot further.

Thanks for the help (sending to Juicy) and I'm heartened to see that they have loyal customers.

But also, I didn't call them a scam. I posed a question, I did not make a statement. I came here to ask others if they have had a similar experience -- sorry if that irks you.

You didn't call them a scam until you posted this.

Rhetorical question may as well be a statement.

You have your line of communication now, you should be good.

Before anyone else slams the OP for the post.

Put your readers cap back on and reread the post.

Account was funded, calls made, ball dropped, question asked publicly to get help, attention to issue brought about by post.

Come on folks not everything said here is derogatory or intended that way.

I am surprised by some of the replies in this thread.

Where is the Impartiality?

I didn't have an issue loading my account or buying ads. Looks like they'll sort this out for you. I'm going to start buying with them again soon so I wanted to click this thread. I'd recommend doing a little leg work before calling them out in a forum. Call them on the phone. ICQ, Skype, or simply post saying you need a contact. Just my two cents. Good luck sweetie!

Juicy ads is a "bro" and OP is a "nobody". Only the strongest characters can be impartial, others just go with the herd

Yup, got it all and a little more.

The Impartial comment did not fall on deaf ears though, which was the main point of my post.

The real question here is why aren't the mods getting rid of garbage posts like this: https://gfy.com/showpost.php?p=20248390&postcount=10 and his follow up: https://gfy.com/showpost.php?p=20248408&postcount=14 for paid sig views FFS!

I received e CC'd email from this client around 2.5hrs ago.
This thread was started also about 2.2 hrs ago, before I could reply.

The timeframe of the email I received from you (which was also forwarded to half my staff)and the thread post time here (and its title) suggests your intention posting here at GFY.

Let's assume that this hasn't been handled in a timely manner. I'm sorry that has happened, and this all just landed on my desk just now. Given the title of the thread (use of the word "scam") I have to reply in public, but further communication should be made with support instead of posting additional slanderous threads;

1. The problems with our service appear to have stemmed primarily from use of multiple accounts in our system. Communication with us seems to have been while using one email address (which has an account) but funding occurring on another account unrelated to the email the client contacted us with. DJ was unable to find the funds in the account because of this.

2. Further problems occurred when we were provided with incorrectly sized ad images (i think?), which cannot be placed in our system. We require properly sized graphics.

3. Client's contact with DJ appears to have started when DJ reached out to them to see how he could help them gets started with us. Client replied to DJ nearly 3 weeks later and he appears to have been very attentive to figure out the client's very specific needs (initially).

4. The client asked for subsequent help and did not receive a timely reply.

Overall, this appears to be a situation caused primarily by the use of multiple accounts and not communicating with us with the email associated with the account. Our account managers always look up accounts based on email, etc and because of the gaps in communication (on both sides) it appears DJ lost track of which account it was and was trying to track the payment to figure it out.

When I looked into this issue I did the same thing and couldn't understand why there were no funds in the account, until I went and traced the payment to find the account. It appears DJ was doing the same thing.

After that, there was a significant communication gap that may have caused you concern for your loaded funds (and I understand that) which surely prompted the email I received and this thread at basically the same time.

You're new, and there are less than reputable companies out there. JuicyAds, however is a reputable company and we will always make things right. If we cannot make this right we will obviously refund your money. Many people here have defended us (and I thank you) but they defend us because we run a good business and because of who we are, not because we pay the trolls to say nice things :P

This was not a normal situation and I apologize for the inconvenience and stress.

Thanks for the thorough response. I could take issue with a few of the characterizations but mostly seems accurate. Didn't mean to slander, but yes, was concerned about the quality of the company I'm trying to do biz with and came here to get other opinions. Happy to put this to bed and move forward. Thanks.

You did the right thing taking the issue higher and forwarding it to me. Anyone who has issue with their account manager is welcome to elevate their concerns to me ([email protected]).

I reply to everyone personally.

That being said, I am often slow to reply because I'm usually pretty busy, so I also ask for patience.

Alright, lets wrap this week up and have a good weekend.

Why should he need to spend more time taking further actions? He already spoke to 2 people their and
Got the same shit results.
Sounds like juicyads needs to get their shit together

[eQUOTE=Sly;20248375]It means that there is a problem in the chain somewhere and you should take further actions of communication before calling a company a scam.

You'll get a lot further.[/QUOTE]

The answer is yes. But we all know he's semi-retarded. So even when he does read it, he barely comprehends.

He didnt call it a scam. He asked if it was. And if you never heard of a company, and you sent them money and 3 times they said they dont know what you were talking about. You would ask the same question. Or you're a retard.

No, I would be smart enough to research a company before I sent them any money. And if my research showed that they were a solid company, but I personally had problems with them and decided to start a thread on this board, I wouldn't title the thread in a damaging way right off the bat. Don't be fake contrarian guy...

This is not injure acted against juicyads, but I think all of the traffic brokers are a bunch of nonsense. It's just one giant house of cards getting ready to fall down - there is a lot of nonhuman traffic, shady sellers, and blind crappy traffic that won't do anything except leave a hole in your credit card.

There is indeed a lot of those things which you mentioned, but it depend from broker to broker, some pay attention to who they get into system, some just dont give a shit and think only about getting commission.

yes, you cannot have nailed it on the head that one... still I don't know why someone with traffic they could convert for themselves would sell it... maybe I'm just old school

In this case oldschool is just a colourful way of saying: completely out of touch with current business practices.

Well,as someone who selling traffic for seven years i can explain this -
first,as a traffic seller i cannot monetize my traffic well as hundreds of traffic buyers can do it.You cant be good at everything, you are either good with generating traffic or you are good with monetizing traffic. And also traffic buyers dont need to buy entire traffic available from single buyer,it can buy a piece of it which he think how it will convert.
Second, even if you would be good by sending traffic to right sponsors,in most cases selling to traffic brokers simply generate more money, unless you have micro niche site, then it is better to send to sponsors.
I got fooled by some sponsors how i will make more money by sending traffic to them, but it was total bullshit.Trafficbroker simply always generate more money(except in microniche case and some luck as well, some high pps sponsors could do the trick but it depend on consistency of sales).

Traffic brokers and Ad Networks are two different things. The reason to use a ad network is that we are able to break a part your traffic and sell it to hundreds of different advertisers who each have their own speciality at converting traffic.

As I'm sure your aware what sells well in the US, might not sell well in Germany, Asia, Russia or vice versa.. So using a ad network you maximize all your traffic not just a portion of it.
