Back from my appointment with
...the heart specialist. Not encouraging news and now have to have more tests. I am really getting tired of this shit...so I am giving some thought to my options.

What were the results? My recent echo was somewhat encouraging since it showed that my heart increased strength somewhat. He still recommends a defibrillator implant, but I'm near the number where that's more optional than strongly recommended. I've decided to put it off and check again in a few months or so with another ultrasound.
I think since you spend a lot of time alone that you should do what they recommend before you are too weak for open surgery of any kind.
