How much money did the courts take in.
How many law enforcement jobs did this support?
How much did this cost taxpayers?

You do need to police a society but where do you draw the line?

Notwithstanding the costs and the support of the law administration machine, out of this many arrests for a few to go bad is not that surprising.

I read something today that said that 70% of Americans have done something that would have put them in prison if caught and convicted. There are 3000+ laws on the books for the police to enforce.

How much did this cost taxpayers? You do need to police a society but where do you draw the line?
