I have to buy a new PC...
I'm tired of Dell and i dont want to use windows 8 Going to my local stores, i found more and more MSI pc MSI Global - Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Motherboard, Graphics and more Anyone owns one ? Are they good ? MSI are mostly sold without any operating system. The guy at the store told me he could install Windows 7 for like 100$ more. Is it legit ? Any feedback is appreciated thanks guys!

$100 could be legit, since that is about the oem license price.
Get a windows 8 -> downgrade to win 7 if you like, because win8 =free opgrade to windows10 that have a startmenu like win7 Windows 10 is right around the corner. Expect Q1 in 2015 |

MSI is a good company with good products (motherboards, video cards etc.. etc..) My old PC before I upgraded had an MSI X48m motherboard and it worked perfectly. Right now in my PC I have an MSI GTX750Ti video card, but no other MSI parts. Nevertheless, MSI is a good brand. Fuck Dell.

you're welcome. When I upgraded my pc I was going to get an msi motherboard (I build my own PCs), but I ended up getting an Asus Maximus VII hero instead because it was on sale (Almost $100 off). In either case, I'd go with MSI over Dell any day.

MSI is fine. No complaints here. I wouldn't buy a Dell unless it was a server.

My daughter had a MSI All in One and it was a nightmare from the day we plugged it in - she does a lot of graphic stuff - and wanted a touch screen - that thing was one headache right after another - I took it and set it on my desk - and got her a new one. We couldn't reach support, no one was answering the phone EVER - we never found any help on their website - nothing - I wouldn't get one if someone gave it to me.
I know everything has a dud in it and I am all about a bit of trouble, but when the support wasn't there, that's all I had to know to know I was not interested anymore and would never own another one - and yes, I know some love this and that and some don't - but as for us - nahh!! Wo't ever go there again. lol
