Luckily about 80% of that is tax, so we are able to pay for our world-record surveillance cameras etc, and play at being planetary police reserves, because of some dipshits in gov't thinking that a nation our size somehow needs to be right up there in that regard, but of course being smaller in population, needing to tax the living shit out of us every which way, to be able to do so.

Tonight it's $1.15 per litre. I just tanked up as at the nearest gas bar to me they offer 5c off per litre on mondays and thursdays. So $1.10 for me.

A few days ago I saw a few places in Winnipeg offering it for $1.08 per litre.

Roughly $4.40 CAD right now. It was $4.14 last week but they jumped up 10 cents a litre on Monday, it's slowly coming back down again now. Last time I drove over to Detroit it was $2.99 USD per gallon.
