I started putting my Protein powder in my coffee. Cafe Mocha :)

I figure why not, i drink coffee usually black or with milk. I used to love Cafe Mochas, but i cut them out awhile back because of the sugar in them.

Now since i am already taking a protein powder with a chocolate flavour, i added it to my coffee. Tastes friggin great.


Cafe Mocha is back!!!


Update for anyone who cares, i am getting strong as hell, but really hard to burn fat. I am going to start a night run. So after i put my boys to sleep, I usually go back to my office and work for several hours. I will start running there and taking the long way.

I was wondering about that. I will check google. So far no one is saying it will change the protein or destructure it in anyway. So i will keep doing it. they only thing people complained about was mixing issues.

Mine seems to mix well, so no worries.

i normally put a teaspoon of nescafe in my protein shakes where i put 2 scoops of protein powder

I've seen loads of people talk about this and I can never understand it. I mean, you cook chicken and the protein is still viable so what the difference cooking protein powders?

I put a little protein powder in a cup, add a teaspoon of peanut butter, as much water as it takes to make it a sludge consistency and then zap it in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds.

Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside!

I put butter in my coffee....yummy. But a little protein powder sounds like a good idea, although not all powders have a good taste. If I'm drinking protein I could care less about how it tastes, but if it goes in my precious morning coffee, it better taste like the Pillsbury doughboy's butthole.

I am pretty sure i've read that heat can mess with the proteins properties but I read that so long back I would look into it to find out for sure.

Running only helps cardio conditioning. If you want to burn more fat bottom out your sugars intake, works like magic.. I've gone from flab to abs in a matter of 2-3 months with that alone, resistance training speeds that up obviously though.

I've taken a break from protein powders for the past few months, actually no supps at all and there's no difference in how i train or the results, it's all marketing crap there...

I mean, it doesn't hurt, but food > supps anytime.

Its not hard to lose fat. Your diet just sucks. Eat only Steak and Eggs 6 days a week and see what happens. Water and black coffee only.

Some people struggle to consume the the mount of protein their macros require in real food. I'm one of those people. For me and others like me, protein powders are a god send. Quick, convenient and I don't have to stuff my face as much ....

Temp of coffee will not denature protein...however baking in an oven for an extended period or time or cooking pancakes with protein powder will denature it to some extent.
