The first one reminds me of Goodfellas... where they go to pesci's moms house to get a shovel and knife and she makes them stay and eat. DiNerio is doing something with the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out in the background that made me and my say "what the fuck! why didn't i ever think of that"

Meh ...
Some were just common sense. Power cable one not so good, but I do that for Christmas lights. Jar one will damage your knife tips. Chips and popcorn were nothing special (kernels fall to the bottom anyway) Garlic one depends on perfect size/weight garlic and jar size (sometimes works, sometimes not). That guy had some girly arms!

Why is the power cable one not good? I do that one all the time when i'm vacuuming my car so I don't rage when the cord detaches whilst i'm already doing something unpleasant...

If you open the can like that; remember to point the knife clearly away from you, or you might pop more than the can.

Me too. It helps especially when trying to use a buffer on a car. The cable on those things are so short.

Fucking amateurs.
How to open a jar of pickles - you stab the top with a knife, you open the jar, as simple as that. |

Closing the jar is another thing, as there is the hole then.

1) That is a jar, not a can.
2) Would never use a straw to drink from a can. 3) Hell no, I don't want people's hands in my chips. 4) Oh man ... 5) works 6) Do people that buy milk in a box not already know that? 7) We use a plastic yogurt container; works like a charm (just make sure you keep the lid sealed or there will be garlic all over the kitchen. 8) Will remember that one if we ever buy that stuff again 9) They don't appear to even know how to lace shoes 10) unbelievable. |

I do the straw one. The only other one I found interesting was garlic. Not sure that I would do that, but interesting nonetheless.

Also, isn't that why the soda can tab has a hole in it? My mom drank her diet coke that way more than 20 years ago. |

Probably not. Pretty much all "tabs" have holes, but you can't put straw from all of those. It is more like weight/ material/ design issue.
