Spent 4 days. Nice weather, lots to see and eat, superb for a weekend get away - a swimming pool on the river bank is awesome

Pretty much impressed with the public transport system, variety of ticket offers. Metro, buses and trams, including Airport express are very clean. Easy to get by without a cab.
It's a heaven for those who prefer walking the streets.

Lyon is an EasyJest destination, so was fairly cheap - they say it's a 2nd large city in France and also a food capital. I'm a simple guy and I have found what I was looking for - spectacular city views, narrow streets, sunny weather, good and affordable food - I'd take a bike tour if I had more time.

That looks amazing. We went to Paris/ Disney Paris is interesting to see but would not want to live there. Trains were a disaster compared to Spain and other places.

Lots of dirty people on the trains we were on and was not pleased about that but nothing could be done. Did see some amazing country side though as we went. Disney was wonderful and the little town of Val De Europe was really nice, clean and safe.

Plan to get into more of Southern France next time and a few other countries.

Spent a week in Paris, and another week traveling around the rest of France and loved it. Everyone I met was friendly, and for the most part clean. I got a whiff of a couple of people, but it was around July so I think you will find that in any major city in the summer time.

I was in a bar one evening and was offered a blowjob. I told the guy I wasn't interested.

I thought the number of statues of George Washington was rather interesting.

Thanks, indeed it was very clean. There are pedestrian areas with pubs and stuff, it gets nastier a little, but next morning it gets cleaned by special machines - one fucker woke me up at 7 actually LOL.
