The new Terminator sucks, I did not like it at all.

I really liked Terminator Genisys and plan to watch it again soon.

The visual FX are also some of the best I have ever seen. Virtual Arnold is incredible, but if you really want to see state of the visual effects, check out Ant-Man, especially the scene at the very beginning with the de-aging of Michael Douglas ("Hank Pym") and the aging of Hailey Attwell ("Peggy Carter"). They have really mastered CG and digital make-up.

Incredible! Thanks for posting. I couldn't imagine the hours they put into modeling and rendering a younger Arnie. The only program I've seen that can model and texture humans that realistic is ZBrush. But you can't rig in ZBrush.

I'm still amazed at how realistic the can make scenes look by integrating all of those elements. That's one of the reasons I really enjoy doing it. Watching videos like this gets me pumped up.

I was right, they used ZBrush.

?We had life casts of Arnold, we had a couple of scans of Arnold, so we took them all into Zbrush, cleaned them all up, made them all nice and then took an endoskull, put that inside and started carving it down like you would with clay, like they did on the original.?

Very impressed by the work on young Arnold. Of course you can't help but think "I'm looking at a CG creation", but it could have passed as human.

It could be the best CG I've ever seen. I've watched the movie 3x now, I enjoyed it best after seeing it a few times. I'm not a fan of the quick cut editing, that threw me off at first, but its actually a fun movie.
