Do you hide your "last seen" on Whatsapp ??
Noticed quite a few people doing it.
Seems a bit pointless to me...

i do... sometimes i get messages from people that I do not want the to know I have read it yet. if they see the last time I was seen they know I have seen their message. I have gotten busted with this feature several times in the past.
