What email service do you use, and do you like it?
Looking to start some targeted emailing for customers and one of my sites (all opt in).
Do any of you do this and if so what service do you like such as Constant Contact or Mail Chip? Do they offer the service and value you want or not? Does you mail get through? Enquirering minds want to know.... |

Tried Mail Chimp - paid for a month, got refunded because they don't do Adult.
Tried YNOT - happy with their Admin, service, etc (and Jay is tops) BUT I found it too expensive for my needs. (Trying to fix that right now.) Best bet is to probably setup a mail server and DIY.

For mainstream, Mail Chimp is the best I have found. Can be tweaked down to the smallest nutts and bolts. Excellent delivery rate.
For sending yourself or similar, I recommend looking into smtp.com

Contact me at YNOT Mail and I'll hook you up. Obviously we are fine with adult material.

I am using SES with Sendy: https://sendy.co/ and to a greater degree, I am also using Mandrill ( Transactional Email from MailChimp - Mandrill ) with Email Marketing Software - Auto Responder Software - Email Marketing Service - Mail List Management Software | Octeth Both services were informed prior to me registering that the contents of my emails are for the adult industry and neither had an issue with it. All they care about is that I am compliant and use their services responsibly. Both are also infinitely less expensive than YNOT Mail. YNOT Mail uses (when I last tried them): https://www.interspire.com/pricing.php $495 https://www.smtp.com/plans-pricing/ $500 for 500K emails a month Total for the year: $6500 For similar volume over the course of a year with YNOT: $9000 https://www.ynotmail.com/pricing.php Hook up Mandrill to the same software YNOT use and you could be sending 500K emails a month for under $2K a year. Look around people, test stuff out, do some research. It is possible that none of the solutions I've mentioned will work for your particular use case but at least you'll know this because you tried it and not because someone told you "If you use a service outside of the adult industry you will run the risk of your account being closed without warning." If you use the YNOT service irresponsibly they have an obligation to shut you down too. Don't take my word for it; have a look at their TOS: https://www.ynotmail.com/terms-and-conditions.php

Was counting on using it for mostly mainstream.
Did want to start collecting emails for my sex toys sites though... RazorSharpe - excellent post thank you. Rochard, do you have an affiliate program for the mail service? |
