If this is a matter of race, why would they even take the trip , when they had rode that racist rail several times in the past? If it was a matter of race, why hadn't the train thrown them off the several times they rode before this incident? If it was race, why did the racist train attendant give them the benefit of the doubt the several times he warned them to tone it down. If it was a matter of race, why did the train offer them another train ride for free? Must be nice to pull the race card and accept no accountability for your own actions.

A spokesman for the company, Sam Singer, has said individuals or groups are asked to get off the wine train once a month on average for various reasons.

The Lifetime Gym I go to usually is a massive, upscale facility and has 4 large basketball courts and an indoor turf field next to it. I train my GF on the turf (boxing), 5 days a week and walk right past or through the courts.

When Mexicans, Caucasians and Asians are playing basketball... literally there are no sounds but occasional screeches of shoes, the basketball and hushed "i'm open" or "over here" type remarks. You literally cant tell if its 2 on 2 or 5 on 5 just by listening alone.

Walking up the stairs and well before you can see the courts or go through the doors, its clear whether black people are playing or not. When 2-3-4 brothers start playing, its nothing but yelling, screaming, arguing and talking shit. Pointing that out is not "racist", asking them to conduct themselves more appropriately and lower the volume and yelling and swearing is not "racist". Kicking them out when they fail to comply is not racist.

Funny how this one ethnic group NEVER does anything wrong and is NEVER responsible in any way, shape or form, for the incidents they are involved in. No one ever goes to a realtor and says "show me homes in the black part of town because I want to be surrounded by kind, courteous and respectful people"

My wife and I love the Napa Valley Wine Train -- it's a great time, relaxing and fun

I've never seen anyone drunk or rowdy on it...

It's an intimate experience that could easily be ruined by a group of loud, cackling women, regardless of their skin color -- the same way that your dining experience can be ruined by having a large group of people or screaming baby at the next table in your restaurant -- except that in a train car, it's more confined and in your face.

The reason this is a "race" issue is because the language and volume level that these women were using seems "normal" to them, so the only reason they can imagine being singled out is because of their skin color.

For the non-blacks around them however, the screeching isn't "normal," it's a noisy day at the zoo, and not the relaxing experience they paid good money for.

Akin to the gym example above.
