My film recommendation of the month: "The Disappearance of Alice Creed"
I saw this film last night. It was a very enjoyable thriller, for people who like films that are more like plays...
There are no action sequences, exotic locations or SFX... Just 3 characters and thats all it needs. I went into it pretty blind. All I knew was that "Two Ex-Convicts kidnap a girl and hold her for ransom" and thats all you need to know if you are into this kinda film. If your looking for something to watch give this a try, however had I researched it before hand, I probably would not have enjoyed it as much, because the plot twists are not obvious, but if given away would spoil the movie. Anyway, thats my film recommendation of the month and only post without mentioning poo  No doubt someones gonna post the entire plot just to spoil it for others but so be it... I liked it anyway |
