Royal Bank of Scotland signs up for Facebook at Work

Run like hell the CIA and NSA are dancing in the streets ...

Quote:
Nine months after a limited launch, Facebook At Work has snagged its biggest customer: the Royal Bank of Scotland.

In July, RBS began piloting the program, which will roll out to 30,000 employees by March and all 100,000 workers by the end of 2016.

Facebook At Work is intended as a place for users to chat with colleagues, connect with professional contacts, and collaborate over documents. Designed for use only within a company, the familiar blue-and-white page lets folks keep up with associates' News Feed statuses, the party planning committee's photos, private messages with the boss, and inter-office events.

A company would have to be mad to let Facebook read private messages from its board of directors.
