Whenever I look at my Nifty Stats, which are constantly declining anyway, I subtract 25% from the total under the assumption that I ultimately wont get paid.

I've been an affiliate for a decade and I would say that the vr porn sponsors seem to be the worst. I suspect it's down to VR porn growth flatlining and not skyrocketing as everybody hoped for (or prayed for). There are still a handful of very good sponsors with excellent trustworthy affiliate support - like Badoink - but I don't think it can be a coincidence that some of the worst sponsors around at the moment for not paying or scamming are in the vr porn sphere.

BTW, I personally haven't had any problems at all with PimpRoll and consider them one of the best.

The thing with Naughty Revenue is I can't believe they are scammers, it's just perhaps utter mindblowing stupidity at the top. You have their CEO Ian Paul giving interviews every week to the mainstream press about how VR porn is the future, even being the only porn company to be allowed to showcase at the CES, they are shooting more new scenes each week than anyone, and yet they don't seem to have a clue that all this is worthless in the longrun without the support of affiliates, especially their VR porn affiliates. Even just hiring a part-time intern to help out Crystal with accounts or affiliate management might make the difference between Naughty Revenue being a billion dollar company in ten years time or going bankrupt in 5 years.

If you Google 'VR porn', Naughty America are nowhere to be seen (apart from being mentioned in the mainstream tech articles that appear in the rankings below the tube sites). They haven't been paying VRPorn.com, which is number 1 on Google, and likely to remain so there or thereabouts for years. What the hell is the point of spending tens of thousands of dollars on media campaigns when whoever organizing the affiliate side of things is so dense as not to understand the importance of at least keeping your biggest affiliates happy???

It's clearly not a manpower issue.

If it was, once they get to you, they would pay out the full amount owed.

But they're always paying out only smaller fractions. (Unless they only owe you a few hundred dollars to begin with.)

I agree with many of the other comments here. Besides this relatively minor blip Pimproll has been fairly solid for me as well. And has been converting very well.

I too have a hard time believing a well-known company like Naughty America is trying to scam users, but it seems like there is something fishy going on. Hopefully some of you bigger guys can get paid out! I'd be going nuts if I was owed $60k!

Well clearly they have financial issues, but it's still hard to explain why they are not prioritizing their more important affiliates including VR (given that they have invested so much in that area and are continuing to do so). Even if they were outright scammers it wouldn't make sense not to try to keep the guys sending them the sales (now and even more so in the future) at least somewhat happy. Good luck in being the market leader in VR porn in ten years if not a single affiliate is willing to promote you. If there was any kind of honesty on their part there would be no problem. Not only do they not tell affiliates what exactly is going on, in many cases they don't even reply to e-mails anymore (36 hours since I sent four of their staff a mail politely asking for info about next payment - no reply yet).

Well, good news, today i have received an email from Mike (NTA)
*and* the payment via PAYPAL.

So, they fixed the issue, and sent me the paypal as i requested.

All I can say is that, in my case, they were truthful to their word.

With some delays, but the payment was delivered.

That's what he did here, he pays one affiliate knowing that affiliate will report the "good news" on the board and Mike is hoping the rest of the affiliates will be foolish enough to keep their links up.

Links up = equals more referrals = more affiliates to continue scamming

Obviously your experience with them has been different and you have all the right to say it, i can only speak for me, and in my case, they always payed in the past, via check (La Touraine) and I never had any problem, nothing to say. Until some months ago when in order to receive the payment as requested I had to repeteadly email them and wait for a reply.

In any case, I wish someone from NaughtyAmerica could come here and address the concerns. Nowayads, making new sales in the online porn biz is harder than ever, so literally every single dollar counts. And they have such a great archive of talent on their sites... like a whos who in the xxx entertainment world for the past 10 years... so, well, I wish that every other webmaster gets paid too... regards!

From what I have been hearing, the bigger amounts five figures and 6 figures are NOT being paid. That's why Feng wants to get in touch with those affiliates like himself. Naughty Revene's scam revolves around periodically paying off the "small fishes" but not paying the big fishes.

What I don't understand is why Eric or one of the other admins doesn't sticky this thread because clearly everyone here sees Naughty Revenue for what they are...

No, they have been scamming people for years who do $2k+ per month. There was an incident in 2015 AVN where a pissed off affiliate confronted the Naughty America's booth folks about not being paid $16K. He even had paperwork/screenshots showing what was owed.

Naughty America is an absolute disgrace to the industry. Even within the industry, they are regarded like the black sheep. Graham Travis (former head of Elegant Angel) once told me during lunch that if there was one company that is the scum of the industry, it was not Manwin, it was Naughty America. Joone when he was running Digital Playground and his sister Sue echoed the same thing to me on a few occasions about Naughty America as well.

When you don't have the respect of your own peers within the industry, it says alot.

If that's true then they are effectively blackmailing affiliates to keep promoting them.

It would be an effective scam - build up a huge backlog of unpaid commissions amongst your highest earning affiliates, tease them with the odd payment and promises so long as they are still sending you lots of sales, and if they start pulling links stop answering their e-mails alltogether. I still don't get it however. I can see the logic of the scam - we're effectively loaning them our money (sales) while they spend it on trying to establish themselves as the number 1 VR porn brand. But if that's the case, why are they treating their VR porn affiliates so poorly? Most of the money they owe me (over $20K) came from rebills from when I was promoting them before VR, but they are apparently shitting on the biggest VR players such as VRPorn.com.

It's almost as confusing as their intricate Naughty America scene plots. 'Jessica's rich new husband has a sexy son Brad who is seduced by her by the pool, but hubby is secretly ploughing the sister of Brad's former wife who is also Jessica's secretary'.

Maybe they should start outsourcing their scene scripts to Indian $2 an hour freelancers like every other porn company and spend the money they save on hiring another accountant.

They have been very shady in their dealings within the industry for years, bouncing checks to models (Haley Paige, Raven Black to name a few), short changing or not paying crew wages (surprise surprise), they damaged a mansion they rented and the owner had to sue them for damages, inappropriate behaviors to models on set.

Their dirty reputation is very well known, thats probably why they have to overpay the models

Graham Travis (former head of Elegant Angel) once told me during lunch that if there was one company that is the scum of the industry, it was not Manwin, it was Naughty America. Joone when he was running Digital Playground and his sister Sue echoed the same thing to me on a few occasions about Naughty America as well. When you don't have the respect of your own peers within the industry, it says alot.
