How to gain traffic from reddit to your adult website - GoFuckYourself.com

Webmasters use reddit to drive traffic to their adult websites. That is because reddit has many adult subreddits, some with a really impressive number of followers. Reddit is a huge site that is broken up into subreddits, each with a specific theme.

You can get some really great traffic from reddit, but you have to be really careful what you are doing. Some day I get a few thousands visitors to my site just because some shared my page link there.

Reddit traffic may be not best quality, but it can build your brand awareness.

How to get traffic from reddit?

There are many ways how to do it, I will present the most useful ones.

Post pictures from imgur with some watermark with your site or post imgur picture and your page link in the comment as the source (many people ask for the source of the gif/picture so if your site is clean, good lucking and packed with a great content, they will like and upvote it).

If you are posting too many links, the mods may become suspicious. So comment, post in other subreddit, do not only post your website links, engage with people. If you have an old established account with many upvotes, it is really cool.

You also can create your own subreddit but you will have to wait a bit before you gain followers and significant amount of traffic. A lot of subreddits also have a zero-tolerance policy for anything that looks close to a spam link so be careful and read the information about the rules of each forum.

Reddit, if done correctly it can be a gold mine for traffic but you have to be careful that you do not get flagged as a spammer either by the subreddit mod or the site mods. Best strategy is to make lots of comments on posts or adding posts. Redditors hate ads more than average visitors (reddit is a tech-savvy community), if you have many ads, popups, you will experience a high bounce rate. Enjoy the traffic.

Hmm I have a blog that auto sends posts to twitter (270k+ followers). Can I create a subreddit channel and auto send there as well? The posts have no ads - just title, pic, and sometimes a short description. About 6/day.

As mentioned reddit and twitter works like a charm for porn sites..

I created a script to auto-retweet and favorite specific #hashtag and keywords mentioned by users ( without links - this is the trick ) - if you retweet or favorite a tweet with a link on it - most of them are spam bots. Instead, without link - 99% are from normal users - so you get noticed easily and high chance of converting them ( if you're running a pay site ).

Example - This method highly recommend if you're running a pay site or adult toys ecommere store.

find the keywords and specific hashtags - target the tweets without link.

Put images on imgur, title them and add discretpion, in discription add your site address, then put on subreddit. IF you watermark or add your site to the image it can and will be seen as advertising on reddit and will be block and if done too much you will be banned. Reddit can be tricky.

It's getting so much harder though. The ban hammer is perpetually ready and the tiniest obscure link often gets hit fast.

You need to take the time to run your own subreddit.

I just realized that i can post a link to an individual jpg on my domain and it comes up fine.. just not when i post a link to a gallery. Guessing their system scans the page and there is something it doesnt like. I have about 15k Karma

Hard to tell what causes the issue here. Subreddit moderators can ban the domain from their subreddit, but also the main website moderators can blacklist/ban permanently the whole domain from the website. One wrong step and your website can be banned permanently...

If you can get an adult post through in a reddit community, then you'll easily get tons of traffic. The problem with reddit, in my experience, is converting it. They're tech-savvy people and they won't spend money on porn when they can go to any tube and get it for free.

I just started Reddit I am getting a ton of traffic, but you need to be careful. One moderator called me out on my posting behavior on all the subreddits I posted on. Don't cross post and don't over post/ spam

This traffic is blowing away twitter and I have lots of followers on 3 twitter accounts that autopost. But it doesn't convert on Chaturbate. They do click Exoclick banners though

I posted a couple of links to my blog on Reddit before I was fully aware of the anti-promotion culture. There wasn't any backlash surprisingly and those links gave me great traffic for a while, but I wouldn't press my luck and haven't done it since.

I may try again in the future once I get more exclusive content, but I might apply the 10:1 rule or even 50:1 rule to prevent coming off as spammy.

But I really liked the idea to use imgur image with your own site watermark and post it in comments. Will try it. I didn't get that much traffic from Reddit as the niche is adult. Can you please suggest some subreddits where I can find and post/comment some adult related content?
