How does the banning system of cam models work on chaturbate then. Surely this warrants a strike or warning for people doing it?. They could easily get to know our whales after spotting them spending alot. Then get them in private and tell them to create a brand new account from scratch via the models affiliate link and then take our 20% by offering them extras. Thats on top of the money they make actually live camming. Im sure like a lot of people, iv spent a few years working my ass off to build up my revshare and its my livelihood. Yeah i seen steve posting elsewhere and he said the model will have a warning next time she logs in. I also mentioned to steve its not just affiliates they are scamming its the chaturbate site itself. Not everyone who uses chaturbate was sent there via an affiliate code.
If they are asking people to create a new account via the models affiliate link then its basically 20% they are stealing off chaturbates earnings. The biggest worry is what is happening when they get the spenders into private messages and snapchat etc. Thats why i suggested chaturbate should send out a warning email to everyone saying anyone caught doing risks being banned and they are monitoring it

This is dumb, i want an official reply from Staff from Chaturbate, i am not satisfied with those answers. It clearly looks like they don't care of haven't done anything when this camgirl is still promoting her own WL. Some of us are loosing tons of money through actions like that, and to be honest, without our advertising the spender wouldn't have discovered the camgirl anyways. Chaturbate needs to be aware of this and take immediate action or they face a big problem in affiliates choosing other websites.. Its unbelieveable how they can allow this kind of stuff when some of us are marketing hardcore for over 2-5 years and then just get taken our spender away because of stupid shit like that.

Isn’t the whole point of the affiliate program is to bring new users to the site?
Now cam girls are abusing the program at the expense of both chaturbate and affiliaters, and bring 0 value to the site

I think what they should do is to put requirements to the application of the affiliate program like crakrevenue and many adult network do, so that only people with resources and knowledge to promote chaturbate can get approval for the program.

Yeah not cool....it's our investment & traffic. losing even one person to that user could make or break paying all your bills on time or even eating etc or not to some people. She found a hole and is probably making a lot since there is thousands of chatters.

IF they decide to keep her using it I would imagine it would be good to REMOVE that banner etc off whitelabels, if it's SEO from google going to chaturbate I guess keep it. But that's up to chaturbate. That way even if they are allowed to keep it it will keep off our whitelabels.

If they go in private or snapchat, Chaturbate could not be able to take any action against them, I guess they wouldn't, as long as these models bringing more spenders and making a fat money.

Anyway, there are two solutions, either they could install a security system like PayPal and ban those users who hold multi accounts or disable affiliates links for broadcasters

"Broadcasters on Chaturbate are allowed to post their referral links on their bio. They are not allowed to overlay any site function or mislead users with their banners/links. Please submit any instances you see of broadcasters overlaying site design/misleading users to [email protected] so it can be reviewed.

Regarding the broadcaster with the graphic which asks users to clear their cookies, the issue is being looked into and changes will be made."

Honest opinion, this girl deserves nothing else than a lifetime ban from Chaturbate. Not only is she cheating all the affiliates that even bring the customers to her, but she also cheats on Chaturbate to get the money for herself. Another thing to add to the above: I wonder what happens if a model asks an existing customer to signup a new account through her link (I can see that happening in privates or social media).

If the new accounts is bound to the model, then it sucks big time: that means this is not really lifetime.

I am unsure how this works though since this is a designed at the system level (on chaturbate side).

Also, I will say it again, the banner overlay that they use needs to be blocked technically. Can you imagine the overhead of reporting every possible offenders spreading daily.

A crazy idea that noone will want would be to remove lifetime all together, and replace it with REVS: planting a cookie with short lifetime, the affiliate gets credits during the time his cookie is in place then the cookie is released and is up for grab by next affiliate. This would make affiliates remain constantly active and reduce frauds like describe above. This would also prevent saturation
