Tech Looking to Make a News / Analytics / Video Site to Compete with Google. Youtube.

Ok, so I look at something like Google News and it's just aggregated shit. I looks at Analytics and it's poor to say the least. I look at Youtube and feel I could do better.

I would like to create my own website to compete and was wondering if I could get my competing site on the first page for keywords "news", "analytics" or "youtube"?

I appreciate it will be tough but I like a challenge and I am a bit of an SEO expert.

So, what do you thing, do you think I could get a site on the first page of Google for those keywords in say 12 months?
What would help me get there?

I think you could do it! But only if you spent ALL your time on it. So that means you should avoid GFY until you complete your goal.

But that would be a conflict of interests, I normally come to gfy to learn best seo tactics.
