What are your conversion rates for webcam sites?

I'm curious...

To ask my question more clearly, if you have a website (webcam reviews, porn videos, sex advice, etc.) that makes money with affiliate programs for webcam sites ... what's your conversion rate?

1/200 1/500 1/1000 1/2000 1/5000?

What are your stats?

Thank you!

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one interested in this matter...

This will vary greatly based on

- what type of site you run
- how do you promote

How do you promote is key. Webcams are a different type of animal as opposed to a simple video site for example.

It's NOT an impulse buy. Imagine that a paysite, given a featured content that the traffic is already interested in, has at least the whole tour to close the sale.

A webcam site has only the models themselves and what you need to sell is personality as opposed to content. Because that's what makes money in cams.

If you simply throw traffic at a whitelabel ask yourself what should make somebody sign up for a site with thousand models online if he's not willingly looking for, is not interested in any particular one of them.

Especially today when most big traffic sites push cams hard so it's not like there will be that many that didn't ever land on a cam site before.

Exactly. It depends what type of porn website you run. With the targeted cam traffic from search engines you will get a great conversion rates. If you put a simple ad on the general porn tube site, your cr will be worse.

Thank you for your answers!

I would have thought this thread would create more interest among webmasters...

But perhaps many are shy to publish their results? ;)
