Investors in adult

Are there investors in the adult community who invest in adult startups? How to best get in touch?

As we all know it's a pretty closed down community, there is sadly no angellist for adult. As an adult startup founder myself, how could I meet potential investors interested in adult?

Any tips are welcome

What is your Unique Proposition Value?
Do you have one?

Because no one is going to back their competitor -- you have to bring something new to the table to find any funding.

I think this is kind of a duplicate thread. I think the same question is being asked here:

Who has the money?

Hope that helps.

.

There is a big difference between rich people and people that are willing to invest in other startups.
In most industries you have entrepreneurs that have made it big and are willing to reinvest their time/money in what they believe are promising industry related startups.

However this either does not seem the case at all in the adult industry, or if they do exist, it's pretty hard to figure out who might be interested.

The problem is, often when people ask for money, its often the case of:

-----

Hi

Can someone give me a few grand as I have a great idea for a pay site. What it is, is me having sex with hot babes. It will sell honest.

All I need is a few grand so I can hire all the hot models I want, to live out my fantasy.

-----

Other times its often, I have a great idea, its to do an adult version of, twitter facebook, intergram, or whatever.

I would invest in Adult. The problem would by your business plan has to be pretty solid, your knowledge has to very solid and your skills level to a height that would make me question why you don't have the money yourself.

This is like the thread Shap put up about partnerships. Most people who want to do partnerships think they are wizards, promise to make me a fortune, say they're making a lot of money and yet still broke.

There are plenty of potential investors in adult services - decent ideas and a route to market however are very hard to come by.
