Holy crap, a British female tourist faces possible charges against her for having sex with 2 men, after she reported the raping by 2 British men

meanwhile civilized civilized US gov buildings host 200.000 gay rapes/year and its no biggie...but them arabs are really savages because according to "detained in dubai", she was released and MAY get prosecuted...this is reason enough to completely ignore the 200.000 gay rapes in US gov buildings under US gov supervision and just focus on arabs

A person could be outraged at both of these issues and not be inconsistent.

I saw a documentary on the place and it does seem very nice, but yeah ....they have STRICT laws.

I would not advise all women traveling alone to middle east countries

Also this is not a country where to get drunk shit-faced, be sober and get drunk at your home country

This. Terrible what happened to this girl, I read the story yesterday and it pissed me off. It's even worse to see today the two guys who allegedly did it sitting back drinking cocktails and posing with a Z list celebrity. The UK need to get involved in this asap and give the girl some support and bring these idiots back to face charges they deserve.

I have been to Dubai, it is as safe a place as I ever visited but their laws are very strict and you have to adhere to them and keep your smarts about you. I am sure there is a lot more information to come out about this case and how it all went down, there surely has to be fault on hotels or whatever for even letting the men in with the woman in the first place considering out with marriage, you cannot share a room with someone.
