Do you use an Age Verification Plugin? Which is the best?
Hey guys,
I used an age verification plugin the last 2 weeks and wondered why my rankings dropped hard. Now I found out that it was blocking the Google Bot (Search console).... I searched long for a good plugin. Do you know one? And do you use Age verification at all? I noticed that my average session time has gone up considerably while I had this Plugin probably cause people invested in the site by clicking to enter. So I would like to find one that works with Google and is not counted as an intestinal Pop-UP due to the recent google update. |

i'm not aware of any but i believe you can find overlay windows in CodeCanyon for cheap prices like 5 to 10$
have you tried looking in CodeCanyon ?

Yeah, I looked used "Adults Only Age Verification System for WordPress" which blocked the Google Bot and "Premium Age Verification / Restriction for Wordpress" which didn't work at all. Both from CodeCanyon.
Content Warning has some trouble with my cache plugin and is also not working and it is kinda ugly. Does anyone know of another method that works? It is weird that my Average Session duration was so much higher with the Plugin, maybe it was just a bug. |

Why use plug in... Just put on your landing page adult warning and ENTER and EXIT button and off you go. Or is porn business getting PC ??

I would stay away from content warning if your site's domain is obviously adult.
