I'm thinking this was some marketing stuff but then I'm like wtf...that's too much.
PwC also apologized for this incident and will investigate.
What do you guys think ? Incident or some new type of strategy ?

I read an article about it, saying that there are 2 envelopes (1 that goes to the winner and 1 to the hosts to read it out loud) and someone gave the wrong envelope to Beatty, who was confused.

You can see that the envelope says actress in a leading role with Emma Stone (and the title La La Land). Dunway wasn't paying enough attention, saw the title, said it out loud without seeing Emma Stone's name above it.

Huge blame tho, pretty awkward for everyone involved.

Regardless, congrats to all of the winners. Yesterday's Oscar show was really good. The pace was faster, the jokes were better, etc.

Warren Beatty used to be so hot! All those lucky producers that got to roll in the sack with him. He was very good in bed, a Hollywood legend in that aspect, the only reason he got work.

How about letting them BOTH be Best Picture? There have been ties before and that would've been the classy thing to do. Fuck the La La Land people and their emotions, their hopes and dreams dashed live on TV. We have to get it RIGHT.

Reminds me of the MLB All Star game with lame idiot Commish Bud Selig throwing his hands up not knowing what to do to end the game. Now we have this debacle year after year where the All Star Game affects the World Series.

I swear nobody knows how to be classy and do the right things anymore.
