The entire Trump administration just does not get this. They can lie about this all they want and try to cover it up, but eventually the truth will come out. It starts as a trickle and eventually it will be a flood gate.

Flynn was fired for spinning lies about his connections with the Russian government, and now we have Sessions telling lies while under oath. Sessions will most likely be forced to resign, and if this this is the case it will be two high ranking members of the Trump administration to be kicked to the curb in less than two months - both for telling lies about their connections to the Russian government.
