Susan Rice Lying Again..

Not only did Susan Rice lie about Benghazi ("it was caused by a video"), and Bergdahl ("he served with honor), and most recently saying in March that she didn't know of ANY surveillance on Trump...before admitting in April that SHE is the one who unmasked the Trump people and personally requested all their files....

Well...in January of this year she gave an interview with NPR stating that she and The Obama Administration had successfully negotiated with Syria and gotten rid of all their chemical weapons.

This woman should just shut the hell up. Everytime she speaks she hurts the legacy of the Obama Administration.

Unfortunately, she is probably going to be called before the Senate on the whole issue of political spying on Trump and his team.

I predict that will be the time she FINALLY shuts the hell up and will plead the fifth.

This woman is a disaster.

She's also one of the people from Bill Clinton's administration who urged him to NOT take Bin Laden when he was offered to the U.S. on a silver platter by Sudan back in 1996. She was Pres. Clinton's "specialist" for East Africa, and during high level meetings was said to be the "loudest voice in the room" AGAINST taking Bin Laden...how this woman keeps ending up in our govt. is a mystery to me.

The best part about Robbie's post, is the fact that Trump attacking Syria was a pretty big thing. It also goes against Robbie's core beliefs because we've all heard Robbie complain over and over again about how the US shouldn't be involved in other country's affairs.

Now this has always been a big deal to Robbie because he's repeated that line many many times on the forum. Yet sure enough just after Trump sends 59 tomahawk missiles into Syria did Robbie utter a single word of contempt?

NOOOO not at all, instead he goes out of his way to try and make it all a Democrats fault.. The hypocrisy is fucking classic comedy gold. Can we just imagine the utter contempt Robbie would have if Obama had done this?

Better focus on the matter at hand instead of who to blame it on.
The only folks I point fingers at are those that do all the finger pointing. And the guy responsible for fixing it now without excuse. There is no easy fix or it would have been done long before now. Most of those chemical stockpiles in Syria were stockpiles removed from Iraq before our invasion.

The better play would have been to take out a few radar installs on the western side while you were at it so if we have to go back, it's a bit easier to surprise them with maned aircraft.

Simply symbolic is what we got.
It does send a message in any case. They may be hearing it louder in N. Korea than Syria.

I am only pleased that most of the upper but not top level advisers are not political appointees.

Russia knew it was coming because we used the back channel combat communications to tell them. They were not trying to blow up Russian aircraft. The attack was a warning, not meant to decommission the entire airport..

I knew all about that but there were no assets on the ground at all because of those communications were shared. I didn't expect anything less.
But not a heavy enough price to pay militarily for Syria.
'SOME' radar install should have been a target in the southwest. Russia would be forced to provide some mobile radar to fill in the blanks and expose them further to the resistance. It could raise the costs for them on multiple fronts.

I think you have to have a reasonable response with out too much escalation. IMO the ploy here was to say we aren't going to tolerate use of chemical weapons. If we had used the opportunity to clearly advance the rebel's cause for instance that would over step the play and push Russia into defending Assad's actions.

IMO the generals in charge of this stuff thought these plans out pretty well and what every action would do.. I'd say this was a safe call to send a message with out pushing back too far..

Russia was left to verify they had been destroyed.., and even if they had destroyed every last one, they could of made or purchased more in the past 4 years.
