One large tube site or several smaller
After months of keyword researching, I have collection of around 50 keywords with 25000 - 50000 monthly searches. Should I build one larger tube with keywords as categories, or should I make fifty smaller tubes? If I build smaller tube sites, should I interlink them?

One large
Once you start trying to get lots of smaller ones started, it will eat up your time managing everything with running updates all over. Focus your time and energy!

Thanks Denny and Adraco, I will follow your advice. I already have small niche tube sites with nice results, but I think it's time for one larger tube. Can someone suggest me domain name? I will definitely go with .com domain, but should I include words "porn" or "tube" in domain's name?

To each their own. Back when my focus was SEO I setup hundreds of sites focusing them each on their own set of keywords that I was targeting. I achieved top positions quicker and pretty much always held them. Whereas trying to hit the top with a single site for a wide range of keywords isn't always easy unless you have a very strong and long term SEO plan.
It always helped that the keywords were in the domain as well. As far as your domain question on whether to include "porn" or "tube" I think that really depends on your base target keywords, as you should have at least one of them in the domain.

Actually I meant one large but still niche related, not general porn tube. You will hardly compete will big general porn tubes.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. If I were you I'd open few tubes and invest and spend time and efforts on them, and see what comes up.

GFY was down for me in the last couple of days, I don't know why.
Anyway, I created three smaller tube sites just to see how things will work, I had one EMD tube up and running since July and it is already in top 20 on Google for keyword that has 9,900 monthly U.S. searches. I was quite surprised! If things go well, I will probably start this bigger tube site with keywords as categories in next two months because I can't find nice and short domains for those keywords. But, should I only embed videos from major tube sites, or should I host sponsors' videos on my server? Sponsors' videos are shorter, embedded videos are longer, as you already know Also, should I interlink these smaller tube sites? Or not build links at all for now? |

it depends on your skills and work flow, there are people that get bored just working in one site, and preffer to split tasks and work on several projects at the same time, you need to know what you like to do first

This is exactly the same issue I am facing. For the moment I am handling just one site from a specific niche. I plan to build another 15 from complementary niches and direct the traffic to whichever I consider easier to monetize. I'd rather have under 20 until I learn all the ropes, than having hundreds and not being able to manage them.
