So tell us why you want more illegal migrants.

Or you could just not spend the money and lower taxes or reduce the national debt.

:2 cents:

It amazes me you side with the 1%.

you would prefer to put your wallet where your mouth is. US debt is 104% and rising. Welfare and healthcare the two biggest costs.

A wall would not deter entrance into the nation, it would just change how they get in. boats, planes, tunnels are all things that happen already so spending a potentially harmful amount of money on something that wouldn't be more than a symbol wouldn't make sense. Using that money for anything else would probably be a better idea.

If that many person used a tunnel it has to go very deep to dodge motion detectors. Tunnels are for drugs, something that pays better than people.

Boats and planes are still a problem, but a wall reduces the problem. You do want to see illegal migration reduced, or maybe not. Can you explain the upside to illegal migration?

Sorry, everything Trump does is wrong or an embarrassment. Our very best ally - the United Kingdom - doesn't want Trump to visit. That's how bad this is. If that isn't bad enough, Trump this morning tried to blame this Obama by saying it's because Obama decided to move the US Embassy in England... Which is completely false because this decision was made before Obama was in office.

This is bat shit crazy.

Unless Americans start voting more responsibly expect more people like Trump. People who play to the populist vote.

They would go home to Mexico or whatever country they came from if they could? I don't doubt that at all. Many of them are here simply because they don't have any opportunity in their home country so they send money back to their families. One of the guys I knew was a teacher in Mexico but made more money and had a better life working as a janitor in the US.

No matter if they want to go home or not, how is a wall going to change any of that? Wouldn't it make more sense to make it harder for them to get welfare and jobs here?

So cutting taxes, increasing the deficit, and then spending tens of billions on a wall that will not do anything sounds like a great idea.

But he forgot that Trump is the guy trying to build walls and is neck deep with the commies.. Rush Limprod is a big Trump nutter, so it was very ironic..

A lot of Americans swallow BS like it's the truth. That includes liberals as well. For instance, the new book accusing Trump of being a moron, one thing he's not is a moron. Both sides swallow BS on a daily basis. The Wall isn't the best idea, but it's far better than the big corporations' solution, allowing nothing to change and encouraging more by legalising them.

Spending money on a wall will save the US money on Welfare payments and increase tax revenues.

I can see why you would think that might work but it was tried and it didnt because the people who hire them do so through legitimate subcontractors, you want a roof on your house you call a roofing company that company calls one of its subcontractors who calls its subcontractor for roofing labor. Truth is Im not terribly concerned with illegals who come here and work, they are actually contributing millions into social security and helping to keep it afloat. My concern is people who come here and contribute nothing or simply take.

I will trade a leech on society for someone willing to work for what they get any day.

And in spite of his crude way of saying it, which I have no problem with really, Trump is right...why is it the Democrats want to bring in the dregs of society, why arent we focusing on bringing in people who have something to contribute?

OK Im off that soapbox

For the record I am AGAINST the wall, not because of keeping them out but because I have lived long enough to know to NEVER trust our government NOT to use that wall to keep me in.

Mark my words...it WILL come to that

Yep. We should be working on helping these countries become less shitty. It would lessen illegal immigration and potentially slow outsourcing in the process.

funny that you mention that, the Berlin wall was called "anti facist protection wall" and offically to protect Eastern Germany from the American troops in Western Berlin...

we all know the real reasons though
