Does anybody have a live/active contact at KinkyDollars?

Hey, everybody. It's been no secret since Kink.com moved the shooting out of the Armory that the porn company was operating (as one former employee put it to me) "as a flock of contractors flying in loose formation". I had been in regular contact with Jesse Garza about the legacy affiliate links that broke in June of 2016 which he was assuring me were still going to be repaired but our last email exchange was in early November. He was also handling my other (very slight) affiliate needs.

His last participation here was on 12/1/2017. An email I sent him in late December got no response; a phone message I left him in January likewise, along with emails to him, to the regular [email protected] address, and to the "emergency" email in the kinkydollars interface, which looks like it's just a different email address for Jesse in any case. (They haven't had anyone in the formal affiliate manager role in close to a year.)

It's not that I have an emergency, it's just that we have unfinished business (all the broken legacy links) and current business (some content access issues) and given how good Jesse always was about staying in touch, it's beginning to look like he's probably no longer part of the loose flock of contractors.

Hence my question: does anybody have current access to anybody who is handling affiliate issues for Kink.com/Kinkydollars?

It all may be moot soon in any case. If Peter just got as big a payout selling the Armory as it looks like he did, he's either gonna reinvest some of the loot in the struggling porn business (would you?) or sell off what remains to the Manwich people.

Obviously this was a typo; it should say "June of 2017". I strive for accuracy in such matters, sorry!

Checks are still coming and Jesse's posted a few things (like the long-awaited new channel links) on the KinkyDollars front page, but still no responses to any emails. Anybody else hear from him?

I saw a post from Jesse yesterday also.

Note they probably don't get in the office till 9am PST.

Also try: affiliates at kinkydollars.com , support at kink.com

The support at kink.com is the one address I haven't tried in all this time, I imagine that as a huge inbox full of surfers demanding their money back and pretending they never ordered before they wanked. But I'll try it I guess if Jesse doesn't come through eventually. I don't know if he's in "inbox bankruptcy" or whether he's ducking me specifically, which would be ironic because (even though I was asking him about hard stuff in 2017) I basically gave up on all that when it became clear that flogging the dead horse wouldn't get it off the ground any faster. Meanwhile my issues in 2018 have been simple shit that any affiliate person could handle in two minutes.

This is finally resolved, after contact attempts dating back to 12/24/17.

A couple of weeks ago I started beating the bushes on social media until one of the Kink social media people put me in touch with one of their marketing people who apparently rattled Jesse's chain for me.

Jesse then sent me five slightly-huffy paragraphs telling me all about why they were never going to fix all the broken links I've been corresponding with him about since last June (approximately 85% of my installed Kink.com link base). Which is fine and all but no duh, that's sort of ancient history. It sure isn't why I have been trying to reach Kink.com affiliate support since December, I just needed help with some simple affiliate issues, which have been detailed in repeated emails that he had apparently been deleting without reading the subject lines of.

So I replied to him saying as much. I might have been a little huffy too. No answer.

Tried again a week later. Polite. Brief. Professional. Nice. No answer.

Tried again yesterday. Got the "sounds like I might not work here any more" autoresponder: "Due to staffing changes, for all pertinent partner issues and questions please reach out directly to" Matt Slusarenko, who is their Marketing Director. Matt is a skilled professional; I've dealt with him before when they've been short-handed. Emailed him nicely this morning with my stupid little affiliate problem, and he had sorted it out within 2.5 hours. So: 3 months to reach a human being willing to take responsibility for affiliate support, and less than three hours to actually support the affiliate.

I do enjoy dealing with Matt, he's always been a pleasure to work with. For what it's worth he made noises about putting me in touch with "the new affiliate manager as soon as we get something in place" so presumably this state of affairs will improve soon. That's good, because Matt has better things to be doing.

For values of "a couple of days" translating into a calendar quarter, LOL.
