I listen to the birds (real ones) or the ac/fan.
Some music just drives me nuts when trying to write code. And 90% of all commercials on radio or TV are like torture with the volume and loud fast talk.

Music is ALWAYS on here (Currently listening to Blues). It really helps me concentrate and create.
I think I've heard every rock, metal, and disco song out there so now I'm listening to Blues, Rap, Synth, and even country. Sometimes it's just too crappy but other times it works for me.
