Immigrants are not a cost to a country. When managed properly they are a benefit. Trump sending troops to the border at a price tag of $200 Million, is a cost. He could have setup welcome centers and found a way to get those desperate people processed instead.

No one is saying there are no bad apples in any bunch. What I am saying is that there are some good apples out there, and many that need your help. Getting them in and processing them quickly is less expensive than building a wall or sending in troops. Many of those people will contribute to society and boost the economy.
