Expert, Dependable, Long-Term Software Developer Available

Anyone here need a highly skilled, innovative, dependable and trustworthy software developer? Briefly, 37 year old Canadian, highly skilled, creative, ambitious, hard working, trustworthy, organized, easy to work with, and simply gets the job done.

Spent the last 12 months of my life working on a new open source software platform, which for all intents and purposes is now finalized. You can check out demo admin panel at:
http://apexdemo.envrin.com/admin/

GitHub: https://github.com/envrin/apex/

Install Guide: https://github.com/Envrin/apex/blob/...ocs/install.md

Outdated software platform including online demos: http://envrin.com/

Above links are just to provide an idea of my skills and capabilities. Prefer clients who are serial entrepreneurs who start operation after operation, and are looking for someone to handle the technical aspects of their business operations. For example, my previous long-term client was with me for 9 years before disappearing (no idea if dead or in prison), any I've had many clients for 3 - 5 year spans. Generally, once people get used to me and my skills, they stick with me, as I've made a lot of people a lot of money over the years.

If wondering, quick back story is I went blind about two years ago (no disease, just fell and hit my head in the wrong spot), and that naturally threw a bit of a wrench in my life. That triggered the development of Apex, which I spent the past 12+ months on, and am extremely happy with. Unfortunately, my ex-business partner decided to move the goal posts on me instead of honoring our agreement, so I got screwed out of $20k, hence why I'm here.

Anyone by chance looking for a highly skilled, dependable, trustworthy, developer who moves quick and gets things done? With me, your imagination is the only limit as to what can get done. If anyone has some work, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]

Thanks.

Thanks, sent you a message, but unsure if it went through to you.

Yep, I'm out on the island these days, so a quick 30 minutes Harbor Air flight to downtown Vancouver if ever needed to meet in person.

Of course, especially if you're willing to show me the respect of also providing a test payment.

Reminds me, that client I had for 9 years, he was actually in the adult industry to begin with in the marketing side, before transitioning to bitcoin. Found him on Craigslist, met him at his office in Vancouver all excited about a new job, only to find out it was a $40 job to randomize keywords, or some such thing.

That business relationship lasted about 9 years, and I helped make him at least 100s of thousands, if not millions.

But yeah, feel free to send over whatever you have.

I wouldn't normally do this, but doubt it's a big deal as any novice developer can do this in a day or so, and I'm unfortunately quite desperate at the moment. Anyone need a sex.com image scraper? Scrapers the images, tags, titles, generates thumbnails.

Do the following, but please note, you also need Tor installed on your server as this was developed for a .onion site. Just a simple "sudo apt-get install tor" is all you should need on an Ubuntu server.

1.) Install Apex -- https://github.com/Envrin/apex/blob/...ocs/install.md

2.) Install the sex.com scraper, at terminal within installation directory type:

php apex.php install custom_george_sexcom_scraper

3.) Assuming Tor is running, fire up the scraper with:

src/sexcom_scraper start

Done. Wait a few minutes, open your browser to the home page of the install directory, and you'll see the images. Again, I'm blind, and he asked for a very minimal design as he wanted to skin it himself, so obviously it looks like shit. Concentrate on the functionality.

Utilizes redis, so the home page and first page of every tag should load nearly instantly. Additional pages do have to retrieve data from the mySQL database though, so depending on number of images in the database, may take a couple seconds to load.

Also has support for horizontal scaling / RabbitMQ, so you can easily have 5 - 10 processes running to scrape the images from sex.com instead of just the one linear process. If anyone wants that, just let me know, and I'll give instructions on how to flip to thaqt process.

If you want to add user registration into the site for example, just open up terminal and within the installation directory type:

php apex.php install users transaction support

Done, access your admin panel, and you'll see a bunch of new menus. Please note, those additional packages are still under development and not yet finalized, so don't be surprised if errors pop up. However, the base Apex platform is 100% finalized with all debugging, unit tests, and everything else 100% ready for application development.

Please note, I'm generally used to working on larger scale systems, databases of 150+ tables, millions of records / users, security is paramount, one hour downtime costs $20k hence is unacceptable, and so on. Used to not only being responsible for one online operation, but a dozen or more at a time, at least the technical aspects of it.

This is why this looking for work thing is throwing me off a bit, as I'm not used to it, and have to admit, it's getting a little frustrating. Obviously I've forgotten what it's like to deal with potentials who didn't first contact me interested in packaged software I have. I know it's difficult to find good clients, but I know they are out there, and when I do find them they always stick with me for years with virtualyl unlimited amount of work, so I never find myself in a position where I have to look for work. It's usually the opposite, and there's 500 hours of work they want done yesterday.

To give an example of what I'm used to. Takes a couple years of working together to build up to this I guess, but once you get to know each other, the client simply sends over a plain text bullet list of say 30 points of a new online operation they want to start. I know them well enough by now to know their style so get the gist of what they want, I ask any questions I have, put together a quick 3 page PDF proposal outlining the project I have with quote. They approve, I do the work, 3 weeks later I'm $4000 richer, and they have their new online operation that they put into their marketing machine to begin generating money. Then naturally, they invest those profits into more development, and it ends up being a nice, perpetual cycle that benefits both parties greatly. That would be awesome to have again. No idea where my last client went, but would be awesome if he popped up again, as that was 9 years. I don't know, dead or in jail is my guess.

Nonetheless, above should give a better idea of what I currently have at my disposal. I'm used to working on larger scale membership / leads based systems, and am more than capable of handling the responsibility of larger scale technical operations, as that's what I'm used to.

If you have anything at all, please e-mail me at [email protected]. All I ask is you treat me with the respect you expect to be treated with. I'm a good, honest guy, and an excellent and highly skilled developer, so there's a chance I can help you just as much if not more than you can help me, as I've helped many clients in the past.

I don't expect you to trust me right away, same as I won't trust you right away. At least test me out though, and throw me an API integration, or small $200 project, and see how I do. If you're in the tech space, and you need a solid and trustworthy developer who knows his shit, then throwing me a simple API integration or something to quickly test me out would probably be in your best interest.
