So, if you think of all the things you don’t want in your life, you’ll only get the things you don’t want. The Secret advocates that people assume the identities of the person they WISH to become.

I believe in it, and have been using it for years, whether it's true or not, I always try and stay positive and do my best to make sure the last thought is never a negative one incase I attract it. Everything I have thought about & wanted has happened, like getting my dream house in the country with a lot of land for my dogs and my new car, which I achieved as well as many other things.

I enjoy watching youtube videos on it. I had always wondered about certain things like how you can think of someone and then they call you or you bump into them you have not seen or heard from them for years. Is it coincidence or did you attract it

Things like that fascinate me /

I know a lot of people think its a lot of rubbish, but in my head, it works so I keep doing it ;-))

It makes sense that what you focus on tends to happen. Try to drive with no plan. The focus and thinking tends to make a plan with action then allows success to happen.

Nah, not really. It's more a case of because you are thinking about something, you tend to notice things related to it, that you wouldn't have noticed before you were thinking about it...

Example: You decide to buy a new car, and from that point on, you start seeing the style of car you intend to purchase on the street all time, and adverts for your chosen car everywhere...

This isn't because you are 'attracting it' Its because before you decided to buy he car, your brain marked those other cars and adverts as irrelevant, and filtered them out. Once you had set off on the path of intended purchase, your subconscious marks them as being relevant, and you notice them.

You can wake up everyday and visualise a bag of money being left on your front doorstep, but the chances of it happening BECAUSE you imagine it are zero.

That's not quite the same thing CS. What you're describing is a form of cognitive bias. This has more to do with mental attitude, e.g. I believe I will make more from this business next year than this, therefore I am prepared to put in the effort to achieve that, so I am more likely to be right. If I didn't believe it I would be less likely to make the effort and therefore what I believed would be more likely to come true.
