Hello mate, I'm using Jax Liberty, it has more than enough and most popular crypto currency wallets (it suits me, because I use BTC, ETH, XRP, etc...). It has a simple interface as well and it's pretty much easy to use.

My favourite is cex.io, especially their instant card withdrawal & deposit which became very stable by the time... I use them for years, they constantly integrate new coins and trading functions

OP I can recommend Electrum or Trezor wallet, for the latter you need to purchase the Trezor gadget as well. It acts as a hardware wallet.

Here's a good list of Bitcoin wallets

cex & paxful, and all similar are 3rd party wallets, i mean, you have to trust in those companies to not get hacked, be shady, have quadrigacx, mtgox, cryptopia, etc etc situations

I agree, Trezor best, Ledger good , for paid ones

Bitcoin core & electrum great for free, coinomi good multicoin wallet for mobile free

bitcoin core is the best and you dont have to download the whole blockchain, but you anything other than that,

so i say the "bitcoin wallet app" it's not third party
