Hello guys. I would like to discuss about how fucking crazy and unfair Chaturbate Traffic is.

I've been camming on Chaturbate for about 9 months now. My earnings were good in the first months, but this year it has dropped significantly. Honestly, I think it has nothing to do with COVID-19 since my earnings on Stripchat and CamSoda remain the same. If it was a economy crisis it would affect everywhere, not only 1 camsite (in my opinion).

I am going to tell you guys what I have noticed about Chaturbate Traffic and how unfair it is for the models.

Some models are in the 1st page since their very first day, and have been making a lot of money and followers since then. When others were taken to the 10th page and never had any chance to get to the front or have any more exposure.

So basically some models were granted the front page since they started and others didn't. I still don't know if its an arbritary algorithm who chooses that or if its CB support manually.

If you go to chaturbate right now, you will see "NEW" users, just staring at a screen, doing nothing, with 500 viewers. And others with a incredible camera and setup way in the back.. which just proves that chaturbate promotes some accounts and others don't.

Also, in my experience, I had some traffic when I started. Now I have nothing! Absolutely nothing. And I know people who experienced the same (traffic in the beginning and gone after 3 months). I have a feeling they control ALL of our traffic, who is going to get and who won't. Which is really unfair in my opinion.

What do you guys think?

That's an interesting point of view first of all because it's the point of view of a cam model. Usually here we only get the point of view of Affiliates and webmasters.
So that in itself, is extremely interesting.

Now, my guess is, that they will put in front those models who are a sure bet. They tried these ones, they will make money. Again i have no idea if this is what they actually do, this is just my guess as a marketer in this industry.

Also, i'm thinking that there is only so many girls that you can put on 1st page. Space is limited that's a fact. So yeah, it is unfair for those girls who are setting up a great HD cams and a nice chat room to not getting the traffic they deserve, i hear you on that.

If i were you, i would try to promote yourself here so affiliates can send traffic directly to your chatroom. This is pretty easy for any affiliate here to direct their traffic to your room.

As a performer don’t try to eat on both sides of the fence. Your earlier topic described scenario of wanting to convert existing spenders to your affiliate account. A clear violation of Chaturbate Terms of Service and biting the direct hand that feeds you (= affiliated traffic). Which is the subject of your second topic. Claiming you don’t receive enough traffic.

Will your third topic be about how to DMCA those affiliates using content in an attempt to drive more traffic? That’d make the circle complete. As a performer focus on your performance and show qualities. It takes time to build a following, just as it takes time to build affiliated traffic to push to Chaturbate. This advise is coming from someone who drive traffic to Chaturbate as an affiliate for some time now. Good luck!

What is your name on chaturbate? I do not find OliveOwen. I find an Olivia Owens but no Olive Owens.

A good way to get more traffic is to work with some of the people here that are pushing traffic to Chaturbate.

Oh yeah, we are all stalkers, that's the ticket. A bunch of people who work day and night in the adult space just want to be able to stalk models.

If we do not know your model name then we cannot possibly send any traffic in your direction.

When asking/discussing traffic you immediately get upset when being asked for a model name. Calling legitimate affiliates with traffic, stalkers, those same affiliates who can profile and potentially push traffic. No here has been nothing but truthful and respectful, even if it may not be what you want to hear. Perhaps try a model forum instead of a webmaster forum, if you just want to hold hands and sing kumbaya.

Its clear you don't understand who helps you make money in the cam business. Did you think all the customers you've had just magically landed on the main site and went to your cam? Most likely affiliate traffic has played a large part in the money you've earned. Nobody is stalking anyone, but we do take offense at someone suggesting they'd like to steal a spender who signed up as our referral.

When I looked at Olivia Owens on CB, it said she was Canadian. The link in OliveOwen's profile goes to pt.chaturbate which would be portugese chaturbate.

Then it appeared that Olivia Owens has no problem getting traffic.

Based on that I had decided they were not the same person.

The similarity between the names did seem suspicious though.

That makes sense, you're probably right. I did notice that Olivia Owens CB profile doesn't have an affiliate link, so I surmised that she wanted to put one in her profile and came to gfy to figure out how. However, the portuguese link would definitely indicate someone different.

I have a big spender and CB support told me he did not sign up under any affiliate link. So that probably gives me the right to send my link to him.

If you already have a big spender, why not do skype shows for him for a preset amount? Why worry about getting 20% more in affiliate income when you can have 100% of everything spent.

There is never a right to re-signup a user.
