So it doesn't seems like the graphics are better then on todays PCs.. however I guess the point was to make everything smooth for 4K resolution. Btw I'm a PC gamer myself, haven't had a single console before (except Wii), however was looking forward to the reveal, because if consoles get better, then the games released for PC will be better looking as well..

Watched it live last night. Extremely unimpressed. Virtually no actual game play and just cut scenes. Naturally, the graphics are not gonna be an amazing leap forward when its still less powerful than a half decent gaming PC. Sure, its cheaper, but to what end if you are still not getting something that looks better than it does on PCs? Maximum hype minimal substance.

The live stream I watched it on, had everyone expecting a big reveal that all the guys who were talking about the games were gonna turn out to be CGI rendered on the PlayStation, but no. They were just real people being filmed...

Yeah i watched it and starting to get hyped. You wont get the full effect of the graphics to your using it on a big 4k screen. I was hoping for 4 games to be announced. God Of War 2, Spiderman 2, Horizon zero dawn 2 and Infamous 3. I got Horizon 2 though Spiderman Miles Morales isnt really a Spiderman 2 but more of that game world is welcome. My first reaction to the console was wow thats amazing but the more i see it the less i like it. I dont like the way the white parts over hang the black curved middle. Still be a day one purchase for me anyway

Also watched the live stream. My thoughts, overall slightly disappointed. Ok 1 or 2 games stood out. Main one being Resident Evil for me. But like someone already said it was mostly all just cut scenes from the games rather than the game itself. But yeah Rez Evil looked immense (Rez 7 is/was probably my fave PS4 game).

Loads of games which i have no interest in, could tell they were trying to keep the younger audience entertained which is fine, but yeah was hoping a few other "big hitter" titles would at least get a mention.

Gran Turismo i would say was the biggest let down from the little clips we got, however i haven't been a big GT fan for a while now anyway, there's better racers out there.

As for disk or digital version. If they are gonna try sell digital only then they will have to make sure they make it worthwhile to the customer, otherwise it becomes pointless.

The PS store does great deals on games now for PS4, but in the first 3 or 4 years it was shit. New release games should always have been slightly cheaper than you would expect to pay in the shop since the middle man was cut out, but some of the prices were ridiculous. No disk, no store, less cost, yet the games were maximum price. Where's the reward for buying straight from Sony ? So, it will be interesting to see how the market and sell this one.

I will be buying but, yeah wasn't exactly blown away with the hour or so "exclusive reveal" we were given...

Im going to buy the disk version. Im not one for building up a collection i prefer to buy a game then once i finish it i sell it on a UK forum and put the money towards my next game. I thought Horizon 2 was the standout as i loved the first one

Funny to think the 3 games i've been playing on PS4 lately are, Night Trap (mega-cd classic), Flsshback (megadrive/genesis) classic, and Street of Rage 4. Update of the classic Streets of Rage series (and pretty damned good aswell).

Highly recommend...
