CamSoda Whitelabels
6+ months after creating a camsoda whitelabel and sending some traffic to them, I noticed conversion was low. I created a test account and clicked "Add Tokens" then "Purchase Tokens Now" => BLANK SCREEN instead of Epoch page.
Billing was never enabled on my whitelabel At the time I am posting, it is not enabled and there's no documentation related to whitelabels. I contacted a friend who told me he has the same issue, it isn't just me. question: as it been QAed/tested before production release? question: what is the link to the documentation (set up of whitelabels)? |

I am puzzled that whitelabels go live without the billing feature. This is not only an obvious issue for me, it is also a poor customer experience. As per your message, I see it. It looks like a copy/paste of an edited online conversation you had with a level 2 support. It is not clear but it looks like it suggests to recreate the whitelabel and then modify the contact details for my domain in the registrar. Could you tell me precisely what needs to be done and/or give me a link to the whitelabel documentation? *disclaimer for readers who may think I am a noob and that's the reason for the thread: I am an experienced webmaster with several working whitelabels. |

They need whois changed because billing company has to verify it. Had to do the same with several other whitelabel providing cam companies.
Out of topic, but how customizable Camsoda whitelabes are in terms of SEO?

Nowhere in the creation process does it states you need to do such thing, as a result me and others have had a live whitelabel with no billing feature. I only realized it by sheer luck.
As a matter of interest, how did you know you had to change whois since it is not documented? |

Thanks for bringing this to our attention drexl. I been pushing my whitelable with them for awhile patiently waiting for conversions. I was wondering why I wasn't getting any. Now I know why because the billing screen is a blank white screen, WTF. That kind of made me mad. I pulled all my Camsoda banners and links yesterday. I have no idea how long this has been going on.
I sent my affiliate manager an email asking what is going on. Hopefully she will respond tomorrow. I told her I might try and send traffic again if they fix these problems. "Tell your boss to add Google analytics to the whitelabels. Fix the statistics so we can go back further past 95 days. We can't even see what you guys owe us. Get rid of that Camsoda watermark on the whitelabel cams. That just screams, don't trust this site with your money, it's fake. Plus fix the billing on the whitelabels so people can actually spend money." |
