Sponsor from UK using epochstats.com not paying....

Hello,

I have been working with a sponsor from UK, a small site, amateur, for years they
worked with CCBILL, and ccbill payed me on time the revshare of 50%.

Then a few years ago they switched to EPOCH, and epoch ONLY pays to
the sponsor, the affiliate can see the traffic, sales and rebills, but the monthly
check goes to the sponsor.

From that time on, the problem started, they were always late on paymenths
(now via paypal) and a debt started to accumulate, so, each month i was making
u$600 in sales and rebills (50% revshare); so epoch was sending them the check
for the full amont, and they were paying me lets say 400/500 via paypal.

I tried to contact them about this many many many times, i was getting some replies,
saying i will get paid. But the debt keep growing.

Now it seems they have stopped paying at all, as two full months passed without
any paymenth, and theres an accumulated debt.

My question is: is something i can do? mostly with epoch?

I dont have the funds to start some legal issue. And im actually in South America.

Is a shame because is a small amateur site, i have been working with them
for many years, but it seems they dont care about me anymore.

Any suggestions will be more than welcome.

I would suggest that coming to public about the issue make situation worst. One you do it, its mean forget the money but only listen to silly comments..... never comes to public about the issue and try to work mutually.

I disagree...

if a program is disrespecting the affiliates, first we should know about it and second, JJota has already said he cannot afford legal teams, he´s spoke with the company, maybe making it common knowledge of a bad business, could be the only resort


So far, you are only asking what should you do and where to go next, so no company disrespect, no names...

I´d suggest to email their contact again, speak with them a final time to give the options that you will speak with epoch if you´re not paid and if nothing is done, then you would have no option other than to make it common knowledge, the way they deal with their affiliates.

Not receiving the full amounts is worse than just a simple payment delay. It's a bad sign when a program starts behaving like that. I think your chances of getting your money aren't great unfortunately.

I'd stop promoting the program right now, until they pay you, to cut any future losses. Even if they pay you in the end, I'd not promote them much in the future, I wouldn't trust a program like this anymore.

I don't think Epoch can help you, it's not their responsibility to pay the affiliates.

If you name the program here, other affiliates might notice they're owed money & remove their links too. Then the program owners might realize they should pay their affiliates after all.

Switch your traffic to (ahem) a better Program, one who pays via CCBill. What was the niche? What is your site? If you share I'm sure you will have many fine CCBill Programs to choose from to replace this current Sponser. $600+ a month is too much to lose. That's over 7K a year!

Do what BigFurry said and stop sending traffic to this Sponser and immediately test/replace with a CCBill Program since you have confidence you will definitely get paid that way. Good luck mate!

Thanks for the reply. I have switched to a ccbill program already. But the problem
is the site i was promoting is very unique, in the facials/bukkake niche, i will only
say that, because im still trying to contact them again just to see if they want to pay something or not at all. Is a small niche site, not part of any network.

And really, there are not many good facials/bukkake sites, with weekly updates
and good members retention.

My hope was that contacting EPOCH they would do something, but they have
replied to me, and they dont want nothing to do with that.

To me, the money they owe me, is big money. Is just too much, but all the
signs suggest that they dont care about that.

Sad because i worked a lot for the site, making promotions, galleries, posts,
and i have generated tons of sales for them.

I prefer not to name them yet, just to wait if they finally contact me.

Is a niche site, small and not part of any network. Epoch will do nothing
about that sadly, and i think thats pretty bad, because, im sending the
traffic, im making sales, and epoch is simply paying the sponsor and thats
it, if the sponsors pays you or not, they dont care. So you are absolutely
at the hands of the sponsor, if they are honest they will do their part, but
if they simply dont want to pay you at time, or the full amount, then it
seems theres nothing you can do. Except switch to another sponsor.

They contacted me today, saying two payments will be sent to me this week.

And saying that they have the intention of paying the debt.

So, lets see what happens.

I will keep posting about the issue, but is a good signal.

Update:

Some months ago (before the covid) the sponsor payed me u$1.000
from the $6.000 debt they have with me.

So, i decided to wait and see if they keep sending some payments.

Sadly that was the last one. With the covid thing they havent shoot new

content and they havent sent me any new payment.

The money from generated sales, was paid to them via EPOCH, but they
simply havent sent my cut to me. And thats it.

I dont know if theres really something i can do.

And i also dont know if they will shoot new content again or not.

I just wanted to post and update here, and say thanks to everyone that has
read and replied this post.

If you have any issues in future, I'll be more than happy to help you monetise you bukkake traffic. As has been mentioned on here already, our stuff gets paid through CCBill directly, whether sales are made through CCbill or Epoch (via traffic manager).

But see if you can get something worked out first. Never like to see a relationship break down, epecially after youve put a lot of effort into promoting them.

Your last payment was before covid that was around Feb or March, so they have no intention to pay you in the near future.

Time to walk away for sure and do what you need to do - COVID is not an excuse for them to not pay you - Epoch sent them your money and they have pretty much stolen it - The money they owe you represents many hours of work - I would be raging...

If you haven't already contact Epoch - It reflects badly on them and maybe they can at least put some pressure on these assholes.....

Thanks for your reply. Indeed, I have contacted Epoch and explained the
situation, but sadly, they offered no help at all, or nothing near that.

The customer representative simply told me that it was a problem that i
had to solve with the sponsor. They paid to them, and thats it.

Yes, i think the same. Is a sad situation because when you have been working
for the same sponsor for years and years, after generating so many sales, one
would think, that they would contact you often, and talk aboout the issue,
showing some signs of wanting to do the right thing... but afer so many months
waiting, is time to lose all hope. Thanks.

Do other sponsors pay out affiliates with Epoch sales? There are other programs that have Epoch as a signup option and those that I know of do not pay out to affiliates. Affiliates will complain that it's cheating or a "leak", but that's about it..

In fairness, you can pay Epoch sales commissions.
We run a CCBill program and pay epoch affiliate join commissions properly with because you can set up the Epoch join links go through CCBill traffic manager.

When Epoch initiated that policy of the sponsor paying the affiliate, I never saw another Epoch check from any sponsor. I said fuck those sponsors. When you don't get paid you are working for free.

With that policy epoch ditched the ones who were working to generate the sales:
we the affiliates....

and naturally they simply dont care if the sponsor dont send us our cut...

I remember the time when they decided that and I feared for the worst....

5.000u$ in debt later.... i know i was right in that.... oh well
