Current price is £21,594

Which obviously seems high baring in mind it was about £5k earlier this year.

New year and I suddenly have money. Fuck 2020.

I bought in at 13k, right before it dropped to 5.

I looked at it like people that got into slinging porn in 2007; there was still money to be made, even if a little tougher.

If you learn Bitcoin is/does you'll realize any time is a good time to buy Bitcoin.

BUT, it's designed to rise against fiat, with time and patience (SoV).

Research, learn more about it everyday & you will become more bullish, easier to hold long term

My recommendation, set auto-buys with small affordable amounts using CashApp or SwanBitcoin, and buy heavier on any major correction.

No. It will fall again. Bitcoin is heavily manipulated. You can see it in the mining pools I’ve been told. That doesn’t mean you still can’t make a fortune. It’s up because of uncertainty. If that uncertainty get’s any worse, ammo & food will be your only need. Bitcoin will be useless if infra structure goes down.

BTC will never be $100k.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/...apitalization/

As of the moment i'm writing this BTC market cap is 560 billion. It's just under $30k, and if it were a company it would be the 7th most valuable company in the world. At 100k it would be worth more then any company...

I'll add that there are only 21,000,000 Bitcoins can be mined. You can dig gold and diamonds for millions of years. You can print dollars as much as you want, but you can't get a single Bitcoin over those 21,000,000.

They will keep printing money, of course. However, for BTC to be worth $100k and be worth it in a stable fashion, someone has to be willing to pay $100k for a bitcoin. If the USD is devalued to the point where it's almost even with PLN today, then that's basically a crash of the world reserve currency.

I’ll take that bet BTC will be more valuable then the world’s most valuable company. It’s not a company and shouldn’t be compared as such. Overtime it be worth more along the lines SOV asset like GLD. Likely by the time Bitcoin will reach $100K it’ll have less purchasing power in today’s money, but it’ll def get there. It’s inevitable imho.

$1k was unbelievable
then $10k was
now $30k is
do you realize this is only 10 years span ?

25% of entire USD money supply printed this year (2020)

$100k will happen, within the next 10 years..... inevitable.

If you plan to invest in BTC just be careful.

BTC in December 2017: Almost 20K

BTC in February 2018: 6K

BTC in December 2018: 3K

I know a lot of people buying BTC in 2017 because experts in big media told them BTC was going to reach 50K to 100K in 2018. Same happened to Gold some years ago and with many other things. Just be careful.

35 ok. But if you bought for 20k for example, and now 35, you hold it. And after week/month for example it can drop to 15k for example, and will be there 1-2-3-4-5 years.

- long term investment (5+ years)?
Buy at any time, you will be good

- short term investment(12 months)?
It's not a good time to buy when people speak about bitcoin, but it's easier to enter due to the psychological state you are in (FOMO).

free tip: if nobody posted about BTC for the last 3months on GFY, buy

Well, definitely never buy Bitcoin if you cant handle a 50% correction. A store of value, as Bitcoin is, is actually best to buy, hold, long term, 5, 10+yr etc.

Also think about this, in 4 years while USD is debased another 30-50%, and the next Bitcoin halving occurs, imagine where the BTC price is going to rise to then.

In our universe with infinite possibilities, Lloyd being a miser is possible ... so are many other and perhaps more plausible explanations

i know nothing much about bitcoin but from an outside view it seems bitcoins value is based mostly on hype. initially there was a lot of manipulation to get it to 10k. i don't know what goes on these days but without all the media hype and online hype it wouldn't be anywhere near what it is. after all, bitcoin does nothing and offers little more than an idea.

Saylor is part of big money, corporation, institutional, banking etc, there is a fine line between legit & frauds in "big money".

If you want to discuss fraud, how about JPMorgan metals manipulations, or "any bank name" money laundering.

The hype is actually against debasing fiat currencies, and BTC fits the perfect escape from the fiat scam.

.. btw Ferus, you're still shorting the bitcoin?

I have never shortet bitcoin, and I havent touched it since I sold out years ago now. I have 0,01185819 btc left and 63 Etherum owned by my company because we accept it as payment, but that goes into the forest foundation

I dont agree with your "any bank name" since there are a lot of honest banks out there. I somewhat agree with your JPMorgan statement, but keep in mind they have helped a lot of good people as well.

That said, I still belive bitcoin will crash again, and people like Elon and Saylor are the main cause. I also thought it would crash sooner, but I was wrong. I could be wrong about the crash as well - nobody knows, because its just personal oppinion, and not a scientific fact.

I stick to energy and nature now, the rest is a closed chapter for me
