Anyone here like to make/eat weed edibles?

I know this isn't a weed board, but...

25+ years smoking weed here. Combustion has fucked up my lungs. Tried various vaporizers. Same shit, my lungs fucking hate it. So, looking for other ways to get high, I started experimenting with edibles. Not easy at all, though you can easily go through a ton of weed trying different things. My goal is to produce a weed capsule recipe I found on one of the more popular weed boards. But my decarboxylation process is off. I'm doing something wrong.

So I got me an Ardent Nova.

Just got it today. Did 1 decard. Took about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Will make some firecrackers now just to try it out.

I make and use cannabis infused coconut oil capsules to manage my pain.
I use the instapot for decarb and infusion.

My friend uses the levo II machine.

She sends me gummies, chocolate, oil, and a tincture for my father with dementia. It all works for him and I've taken out all prescription drugs other than blood pressure pill.

I could eat every one of those things at the same time and it does nothing to me. Nothing at all. It's very disappointing.

It might be very low dosage. Do you know what strain she uses? Have others tried it and gotten high?

She might be decarbing for CBD.

I recommend the Ardent Nova. Takes all the guess work out of decarbing. No mess, no cleanup. 100% decarbed weed every fucking time.

I've made tons of edibles when I worked on a farm in Humboldt. One time I put cannabutter, rosin and RSO into mini sized cupcakes. Probably 1000 mg per cupcake and they tasted pretty good too.

I made space cake decades ago. I warned a friend not to eat too much. But the cake tasted well. And he went out for 2 days after eating half the cake.

I never eat, i don't like it that you can eat too much and start spacing.

If you've always been a heavy smoker, you may not fair well with edibles.

I smoke prolly 3.5-7 a day, and I can eat a 1000mg edible and feel nothing, to the point it's annoying as I tend to waste money on them regularly hoping to feel something.

Ive tried oil and edibles produced by both machines mentioned above... nothing.

Currently have an oil vial here that was produced by putting 6 ounces of top bud through 1 cup of oil ( ie: 6x recommended ) don't feel shit from that either.

I do sleep like a corpse , but never get 'high'

If you're eating 1000 mg of weed and it's not doing anything, something is wrong. Most likely in the decard process.

Honestly I think my tolerance is just ridiculous..or my body doesn't recognize a 'body high' at all.. Im well versed in making edibles, I've wiped out entire parties, greened everyone out and just sat there alone.

Regardless, the result is the same with homemade, or purchased edibles... no high.

I also grow my own shit, and it's very top shelf providing the grow goes as planned.

To be fair my body may not react to drugs like others.. Cocaine also just makes me sit there, quiet, never speak a word... not the typical reaction

I don't think it's the machines, I think the problem is me.. but assumed heavy smokers may be similar, my best friend is the same, we both eat as much as we can and never get anything more than a good nights sleep.. She's also an all day smoker.

Your tolerance is too high and your brain is down-regulating your CB1 receptors. You can put them back in play significantly by taking a 2 day break. Taking a 4 week break PET scans do not find a statistical difference between past smokers and the eternally sober.

I have read about people who aren't affected by edibles. After everything you said, it looks like you might really be immune to eating weed.

Constantly. I've got a pound of larfy buds to cook up this month. We're legal now, but still can't sell. So I'm just gifting all sorts of bud and edibles.

Last night I made Jelly Nougat candy. I decarbed 2 ounces this morning and tossed some into the Magical Butter machine with some coconut oil so make more gummies. There's also a cup of Green Dragon tincture I made evaporating on my kitchen counter.

I've got a few pounds of butter ready to go. 10 cups of cannasugar. Some already reduced FECO.

I had way more than one person could possibly smoke, so I've become the guy with all the goodies. I still have way more than I can smoke.
